Bitcoin to Power Vehicles of Future – Michael Saylor Reacts to Elon Musk’s Robotaxi Event

As a seasoned analyst with over two decades of experience in the tech and finance industries, I find myself intrigued by the ongoing digital gold rush led by none other than Bitcoin. The latest move by Michael Saylor, the visionary executive chairman of MicroStrategy, is yet another fascinating twist in this grand saga. His tweet about the vehicles of the future being powered by Bitcoin is a bold, bullish statement that underscores his belief in the digital asset’s transformative potential.

On the social media platform X, Michael Saylor – co-founder and executive chairman of MicroStrategy – shared a Bitcoin-focused tweet from his account, complete with an accompanying picture. Unlike his previous posts, this one delves into topics beyond just Bitcoin.

The message and the image appear to be responses to Elon Musk’s unveiling of Tesla’s Robotaxi/Cybercab, which occurred during the “We, Robot” event on October 10 – a title that references the movie starring Will Smith, inspired by Isaac Asimov’s science fiction tales.

Future vehicles and Bitcoin

Saylor published a tweet, which goes as follows: “The vehicles of the future will be powered by #Bitcoin.” This message was another metaphor for BTC that he likes so much.

It appears there’s an optimistic response following Elon Musk’s latest event, where he showcased unsupervised self-driving Cybertrucks intended for use as taxis. During his speech, Musk expressed dissatisfaction with the current transportation system, citing inefficiencies due to traffic and other problems.

In simpler terms, robotaxis/cybercabs don’t come equipped with steering wheels or pedals because they operate autonomously without any control needed from passengers. Elon Musk previously mentioned that Tesla vehicle owners might be able to rent out their cars as taxis since most cars are not used extensively on a weekly basis.

Elon Musk’s Tesla “We, Robot” futuristic event

According to U.Today’s report, the official Dogecoin account on X noticed a Shiba Inu dog image displayed on a screen inside a Cybercab during a 3D presentation at the “We, Robot…” party. This event took place in a massive hangar where attendees could experience riding one of the fifty robotaxis that were especially prepared for the occasion.

Besides the Cybercabs, attendees at the event also encountered Tesla-created robots known as Tesla Optimus (“autonomous helper, humanoid companion”). One of them even served as a bartender, mixing drinks and donning appropriate attire, including a fedora hat. Guests were allowed to take selfies with the robot, who would pose by flashing a V sign with his fingers during photos.
