Zack, ever so eloquently, describes this phase as “a time of excitement”. Investors, much like eager fans at a premiere, are glued to bitcoin’s daily movements. This period is not for the faint-hearted, though, as it promises both high volatility and, if one dares, high profit.

Wainwright reminisces about the post-election rally, a time when bitcoin soared to new heights like a rocket, with prices rising by a staggering56%. This, he muses, is quite reminiscent of the acceleration phases of yore, namely those in2013 and2017.

He hints that the curtain might soon fall on this phase, possibly within months, with a final rally that could propel bitcoin into uncharted price discovery territory, as it has done before.

Looking at the numbers, Zack noted:

The Acceleration Phases of2010–11,2013, and2017 reached their tops on day244,261, and280, respectively, suggesting a slightly more drawn-out phase each cycle.

Though history doesn’t always repeat itself, if a second rally does commence, Zack suggests it might find its base around $110,000. 🤑

However, he cautioned that global events, like the COVID-19 pandemic, could throw a spanner in the works. “A market-shifting event could end the Acceleration Phase prematurely or extend it further than anticipated,” he mused, though this cycle has been smooth sailing so far.
