The Demon-Slasher Katana isn’t just a powerful weapon – it’s also filled with history and significance. Originally belonging to Yami, it became capable of nullifying magic when Asta’s devil arm altered it during his battle with Dante, after receiving the sword from his squad captain.
Similar to his other swords, this one can also negate magic. It also lets Asta launch blasts of anti-magic as slashes. But this sword has an added benefit: when Asta and Liebe combine their power, the Demon-Slasher Katana can precisely target what he intends to cut. This means Asta can hit only specific enemies or magical attacks, preventing him from accidentally harming his allies.
4. Demon-Slayer Sword
Asta’s Demon-Slayer Sword was his original anti-magic weapon. It was the first sword created from his special five-leaf grimoire and continues to be his most dependable choice in battle. It’s effective because it provides a solid mix of attack power and protection.
The Demon-Slayer Sword is a huge greatsword, and its size is actually one of its biggest strengths. Like other weapons designed to counter magic, it becomes ordinary metal when used against non-magical targets. However, its massive weight and Asta’s incredible strength mean it can still inflict significant damage as a powerful blunt weapon. When facing magic users, the sword’s wide blade can deflect or block attacks, effectively acting as a shield. Plus, it’s large enough for Asta to even ride on like a magic carpet!
The real strength of this huge sword is that it can grow even larger. Asta can use its anti-magic ability to increase the sword’s size, allowing him to defeat much bigger enemies.

The Demon-Destroyer Sword doesn’t just block magic – it erases its very foundation. Essentially, it completely nullifies magical effects, as if they never occurred. For example, it can undo the harm caused by magical poisons. This ability becomes even stronger when Asta and Liebe combine their powers. After learning Zetten, Asta can also create a zone where all magic is cancelled out.

Asta discovered the Demon-Dweller Sword in the main chamber of the floating dungeon, Gravito Rock Zone. This ancient weapon doesn’t just cancel out magic like his Demon-Slayer Sword; it actually absorbs and stores it. Asta can then release this stored magic as a powerful blast, retaining the properties of the original spell. He can even store anti-magic in the sword, allowing him to launch anti-magic attacks at a distance, expanding his range beyond close combat.
The Demon-Dweller Sword offers even more benefits. It allows Asta to link with his friends, letting him borrow their magical power from afar and share information. Plus, after mastering Zetten, Asta gained the ability to send his anti-magic to others, strengthening even the strongest magic knights.
