As a seasoned adventurer of action RPG games, I must say that the drunken pig quest in Black Myth: Wukong has been one of the most entertaining and challenging experiences I’ve had so far. The character’s antics and the intricate storyline that unfolds as you progress through the quest are simply delightful.
In the game Black Myth: Wukong, one of the characters players may come across in Yellow Wind Ridge is the tipsy boar, or the Yellow-Robed Squire. Although fans aren’t forced to engage with this non-player character (NPC), there exists a mission centered around him. This guide aims to provide a comprehensive walkthrough of that quest, enabling players to complete the drunken pig’s tale within Black Myth: Wukong.
In the game ‘Black Myth: Wukong’, all the locations mentioned in this guide, which include the Keeper’s Shrines, can be found within the second level of Yellow Wind Ridge.
Black Myth Wukong: Drunken Pig Quest Walkthrough
Talk to Drunken Pig Near Rockrest Flat
As an eager gamer, I’d find myself stumbling upon the boozed-up swine in an expansive zone, nestled right after the Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine within Fright Cliff. To get there, I just gotta keep moving past the checkpoint and venture forward until I hit a quaint little wooden barrier. A quick jump or roll will effortlessly let me skim over that fence, and lo and behold, there he is, the tipsy pig lounging on a rock beyond it.
Get Sobering Stone Near Windrest Bridge
In my gaming adventure, I came face-to-face with a tipsy boar who was in need of assistance from Windrest. It seemed he was searching for something crucial, and to my surprise, it was a magical artifact called the “Sobering Stone.” To obtain this item, I had to vanquish the Tiger Vanguard within the Crouching Tiger Temple first. After successfully subduing that formidable adversary, I followed the exit path from the battle arena and continued along it until I reached the Windrest Bridge Keeper’s Shrine.
Starting from the given checkpoint, players need to traverse the nearby bridge and navigate towards the corner situated at the back and slightly to the left within the village. Gamers fond of games with a Chinese mythology theme will encounter a pot that dispenses a Sobering Stone when smashed in this particular spot. The surrounding images should provide ample guidance to locate it effortlessly.
Give Sobering Stone to Drunken Pig Near Rockrest Flat
Characters need to head back to the public space close to the Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine, where the drunken pig is located. There, they should hand over the Sobering Stone to him. This action will make the character stand up and mention the Temple of Crouching Tiger before departing.
Give Jade Lotus to Druken Pig Near Temple Entrance
Players are now instructed to proceed towards the Keeper’s Shrine located at the Temple Entrance of the Crouching Tiger Temple. Fans of RPG games should then ascend the staircase and enter the small room on their right, just before they reach the arena where they fought the Tiger Vanguard. In this small room, you’ll find a drunken pig, who can be coaxed to move by offering him a Jade Lotus.
Players who don’t have Jade Lotus in their inventory can easily find it by searching for the material in pools of water located in Yellow Wind Ridge. One such pool is situated right at the start of the level. To reach it quickly, players can use the fast-travel feature in Black Myth: Wukong to return to the Village Entrance, then climb the nearby stairs and go left upon reaching the top.
Fight Yellow-Robed Squire Near Rockrest Flat
1. Players can revisit the spot where they first met the inebriated swine, and notice that it’s challenging them to a fight now. After overcoming the Yellow-Robed Squire at this location, the NPC will move through a fissure in the massive doors nearby.
Pass Through Doors in Yellow-Robed Squire Arena
Players have just found out that they can also traverse through a crack, leading them towards the hidden realm of Sahali. In this concealed zone, two formidable bosses from the game Black Myth: Wukong are stationed: the Tiger Vanguard, positioned right beyond the Sandgate Pass Keeper’s Shrine, and Fuban, who can be summoned by conversing with a character near a drum perched on the cliff past the Sandgate Bound Keeper’s Shrine. After defeating these two adversaries, players will be transported back to the Yellow-Robed Squire’s arena and rewarded with the Wind Tamer Vessel and Sky-Piercing Horn Material.
