Lingxuzi serves as one of the main demon chieftains in the opening chapter of Black Myth Wukong. In the Forest of Wolves, nestled within the Guanyin Temple, this colossal wolf-like creature resides. Unlike other bosses, this beast is particularly aggressive and has the ability to swiftly close gaps with a massive leap, making it crucial for players to stay alert during combat against this vicious demon.

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent battling mythical creatures and bosses across various games, I can confidently say that this thorough guide is a treasure trove of information for those looking to track down the elusive boss in Black Myth: Wukong and emerge victorious. The strategies it offers are based on my own experiences and could very well be the key to unlocking the secrets of this captivating game.

How To Find Lingxuzi In Black Myth: Wukong

As a devoted player, I found my way to the Guanyin Temple by venturing from the Outer Forest Shrine. After braving past a few aggressive wolves, I stumbled upon a section on the left that housed the Wandering Wight mini-boss. Overcoming this formidable adversary, I continued along a narrow cave and followed it onto a lengthy wooden pathway. Keeping to this trail, I eventually encountered a band of enemies standing guard at the temple entrance.

You can ignore these enemies as there is a Shrine nearby.

Climb the staircase, trigger the sanctuary, then proceed through the central door to initiate a battle against Lingxuzi.

How To Beat Lingxuzi In Black Myth: Wukong

Upon stepping into the boss’s arena, Lingxuzi will plummet from above and lunge at you with a hand strike, often following up with another attack or leaping away. The boss’s attacks are generally predictable, providing ample opportunity for a counterattack. Rolling to either side can help avoid the strike attacks. If you find yourself very near the boss, it may occasionally emit a howl, causing minor damage and knocking you down. This is easily noticed as the air around the boss trembles briefly, signaling the need to dodge promptly.

Once your health drops by approximately 30-40%, the boss will jump onto the rooftop and execute a powerful slamming attack. If you’ve managed to lock on to the boss, it becomes simpler to predict its actions and evade the incoming slam. The boss has introduced a new move: a bite, where Lingxuzi lowers its head to the ground and bites you. This can be dodged with ease but inflicts substantial damage if you’re hit by it. The boss’s final attack sequence involves running in circles before either executing a sweep or a slam. After the sweep, the boss usually leaves itself exposed, giving you an opportunity to land multiple hits if you can perfectly dodge the sweep.

Occasionally, without warning, your superior might mysteriously start licking their hand. If you’re nearby, this unexpected behavior could provide a strategic moment for action, as the boss often remains still after licking its hand. In such instances, it would be wise to utilize your Immobilize spell and the wolf transformation ability to momentarily set the boss on fire.
