Black Ops 6: Every Requiem Member, Explained

As a seasoned observer of the world’s most intriguing characters, I find myself deeply fascinated by this ensemble of individuals who inhabit the shadowy realm of Requiem. Each character, unique in their own right, has a story that is as captivating as it is complex.

In simpler terms, Requiem is a highly classified division within the CIA that could potentially lead to trouble for them in the future. The game “Black Ops 6” delves deeper into Requiem’s background, with both past and present members contributing to the narrative of “Black Ops 6 Zombies”. It is revealed that this once clandestine CIA group has deviated from its original path under the influence of its leader and some deceitful scientists, turning fully rogue.

Players new to the Black Ops 6 Zombies storyline, who are eagerly diving into the narrative with the recent transition of Requiem taking over as Group 935, might find it helpful to familiarize themselves with the key characters first. This way, they can hop aboard as knowledgeable fans, fully prepared to unravel the lore, anticipate upcoming map reveals, and delve deeper into the storyline as it unfolds.

10 Eddie Richtofen

The Director of Requiem

Black Ops 6: Every Requiem Member, Explained

Edward Richtofen, who players might not recall from Ultimis or Primis, is a different character. The one who survived the Aether storyline and appeared alongside Samantha Maxis in a new universe is the one we’re referring to as “Eddie.” However, it’s important to remember that Richtofen remains Richtofen, and it’s not unexpected that the Director of Requiem has his own agendas and elaborate schemes. These plans see him manipulate both Requiem and Omega Group to achieve what he desires following the demise of his wife and son.

Richtofen’s long-term aim remains a mystery, yet his unwavering dedication lies in Project Janus. Despite the obscurity surrounding his objectives, the pursuit of Sentinel Artifacts from the Chaos Storyline and Prima Materia demonstrates that Richtofen is not hesitant to abandon scientific principles for attaining what he desires.

9 Mackenzie Carver

Former Head of Containment and Security at Requiem

Black Ops 6: Every Requiem Member, Explained

Mackenzie Carver is another associate of Requiem who has played a significant role during the Korean and Vietnam wars, employing his intelligence and power to further American interests. In this capacity, he successfully earned a place within Requiem where he assisted the strike teams by attempting to control zombie outbreaks while ensuring the safety of Requiem’s staff as head of security.

As Weaver, I too found myself incarcerated on Terminus, a harsh reminder of my past loyalty to my country. For five long years, I’ve been left to decay in this cold place. My mission now is to make Richtofen pay for his wrongdoings, and the most effective way I see fit is by maintaining an alliance with my former Requiem crew.

8 Grigori Weaver

Former Field Operations Specialist, Out for Revenge

Black Ops 6: Every Requiem Member, Explained

Grigori Weaver served as an important figure in the CIA and assisted in questioning Alex Mason to prevent a potential nuclear conflict. Following this event, Weaver has been key to the CIA’s missions through Requiem, where he assigned Strike Teams globally to contain zombie epidemics. Grigori Weaver was known as the Special Operations Officer for Requiem, with the focus being on “was” reduced for a smoother read.

One of Weaver’s actions led to the tragic deaths of Richtofen’s wife and child, making it an ideal pretext to imprison him on the penal island of Terminus for five long years. Ever yearning for retribution against Richtofen for the lost time, Weaver sees the outbreak at Terminus as the perfect opportunity to track him down.

7 Elizabeth Grey

Former Head of Unnatural Sciences

Black Ops 6: Every Requiem Member, Explained

Back then, I was simply one of the scientists at Requiem, a crucial figure in their ranks, particularly within the Unnatural Sciences division. My role was pivotal, supporting Requiem’s strike teams as we worked tirelessly to dismantle the global networks of the corrupted Dark Aether that triggered those devastating zombie outbreaks. I was known for my integrity and dedication. However, the Director of Requiem had different aspirations for me.

Originally assigned by her own British administration to work for Requiem, Grey eventually found herself a captive under the command of Requiem’s director. For years, she was left to deteriorate on Terminus Island. As a result of her prolonged imprisonment, Grey has transformed into a tough and merciless individual, seeking revenge against those who have wronged her.

6 Doctor Pericles Panos

Leading Janus’ Energy Research, and Trapped in the Dark Aether

Black Ops 6: Every Requiem Member, Explained

In a different turn of phrase: Dr. Pericles Panos played a role in the zombie infestation that hit the town of Liberty Falls, West Virginia. Caught up in the Dark Aether, he sought assistance from the church, waiting for a rescue team to help him execute his plan to break free and control the outbreak. Yet, the leader of Energy Research at Project Janus had alternative objectives.

Janus forged secret connections within the enigmatic Dark Aether, subsequently employing his fresh abilities to liberate himself while capturing the team dispatched to save him in his stead. Bidding farewell to the Dark Aether, Panos embarks on a mission of vengeance against former allies, and it appears Richtofen is at the top of his hit list.

5 Oskar Strauss

Former Head of Energy Research, A Man of Science

Black Ops 6: Every Requiem Member, Explained

Oskar Strauss was a German scientist primarily focused on scientific advancements and research. Due to his nationality, he found himself working for the Nazis, which has tarnished his reputation. Although he might have participated in certain Nazi projects, including Nova Six, Strauss channeled his expertise into energy studies at Requiem. It is here that his abilities shine brightest, allowing him to delve deeply into the mysteries of Aetherium and its characteristics.

Straus is deeply committed to science and finds talk about old artifacts like relics of Prima Materia rather amusing or dismissive. He feels most at ease in his lab, but five years spent in Terminus have taken a toll on him, leaving him disheveled and slightly unbalanced as he plots an escape with his companions while disputing the evidence that points to Chaos.

4 Stone “Raptor One” Maddox

A Pilot Who Loves Being Airborne and Helping Agents Exfil

Black Ops 6: Every Requiem Member, Explained

Stone Maddox is commonly recognized by his callsign “Raptor One.” Loyalty defines Maddox, whether it’s to his nation or his allies. Despite enduring torture at the hands of Omega Group, he steadfastly refuses to yield information they seek. Remarkably resilient and skilled, Raptor One excels in piloting like no other.

As a gamer, I myself wasn’t in league with the leaders of Requiem regarding their actions, but I can’t pin the blame on them for our shared imprisonment on Terminus Island. Once we were sprung loose, I swiftly utilized my skills to locate a helicopter and got ready for an extraction, eager to escape that place.

3 Klaus

A Robot Soldier Created For Requiem

Black Ops 6: Every Requiem Member, Explained

Meet Klaus, who is dedicated to assisting you. Although Klaus might appear as a robot, his loyalty towards Requiem is deeply ingrained and unyielding. Elizabeth Grey developed Klaus with the purpose of executing long-distance missions for Requiem. Interestingly, Klaus seems to display some form of self-awareness which could be further refined under close supervision since he doesn’t show much concern for human life.

It’s possible that Klaus was initially developed by Elizabeth Grey; however, his programming and instructions were taken over by Edward Richtofen, the Director of Requiem. His objective is to prevent any information about Project Janus from being exposed, which might involve him harming others if necessary. Given Richtofen’s control, there’s a strong likelihood that Klaus could repeat such actions in the future.

2 Doctor R. Modi

Sadistic Doctor Who Experiments on Humans

Black Ops 6: Every Requiem Member, Explained

Doctor R. Modi oversees the Terminus prison complex, where she carries out sinister experiments on humans. She is deeply committed and faithful to Edward Richtofen, who provides her with the necessary funds and human subjects for her dark research and experimentation, enabling her to create truly malevolent concoctions.

As a gamer, I’m the one behind the Amalgam project and the elimination of Peck’s Inversion Warheads. They call me Modi, and I’m a faithful servant to Richtofen’s regime. I’ve got the former leaders of Requiem locked up tight, and let’s not forget about the Kraken, Patient 13, lurking in the depths of the sea – all my doing.

1 John Blanchard

The Security Chief for Project Janus

Black Ops 6: Every Requiem Member, Explained

At Liberty Falls, West Virginia, the Project Janus site was overseen for safety by John Blanchard. Richtofen assigned him the role of controlling a dimensional disturbance that had devastated the town. To prevent the disaster from spreading beyond its borders, Blanchard had to secure the city and request external aid, bringing in reinforcements to help manage this outbreak.

As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but admire John Blanchard’s heroics during the outbreak. He effectively quarantined the virus and provided aid to survivors, yet it came at a heavy price: the sacrifice of the Requiem strike team. The intriguing part is that Blanchard’s past as Richtofen’s ally remains shrouded in mystery. What we do know is that his role is primarily one of security, suggesting he may not be privy to the darker machinations that seem to surround Requiem.
