Breaking: Binance And Upbit Announce LayerZero (ZRO) Listing

As an experienced analyst, I have closely followed the crypto market and its trends for several years now. The recent announcement of Binance and Upbit, two of the biggest players in the industry, to list LayerZero’s native token ZRO is an exciting development that I believe holds significant potential for the project.

LayerZero, the omnichain interoperability protocol, has gained significant backing from cryptocurrency exchanges. Notably, Binance and Upbit, two major exchanges by trading volume, have announced their intention to list LayerZero’s native token ZRO. Following a successful airdrop, users can begin trading ZRO as of June 20.

Binance To List LayerZero (ZRO)

In a recent announcement on June 20th, Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange globally, revealed its intention to add the innovative project LayerZero (ZRO) to its platform with a “seed tag.” This designation is used for projects that demonstrate greater volatility and risk compared to other listed tokens.

The crypto exchange has announced spot trading pairs ZRO/BTC, ZRO/USDT, ZRO/FDUSD, and ZRO/TRY. Users can start depositing ZRO token on the exchange for trading at 12:00 UTC on June 20. The withdrawals for ZRO will open after a day at 12:00 UTC on June 21.

“ZRO is a relatively new token that poses a higher than normal risk, and will likely be subject to high price volatility. Users must exercise sufficient risk management and DYOR (do your own research) to fully understand the project before opting to trade the token,” Binance reminded users in the announcement.

Upbit Joins Other Exchanges to ZRO

As a crypto market analyst, I’m excited to share that Upbit, South Korea’s leading cryptocurrency exchange, has recently joined forces with other notable exchanges like Bybit, Gate, HTX, Bitget, OKX, MEXC, KuCoin, and Bithumb, to list ZRO. The addition of this token on these prominent platforms is a significant development and is expected to generate substantial attention for ZRO in the crypto community.

Upbit has listed ZRO in KRW, BTC, and USDT pairs. Also, it revealed that LayerZero token deposits and withdrawals are supported only through the Ethereum network. The exchange has also set a lowest selling price limit.

The LayerZero Foundation initiated the process for claiming ZRO tokens. According to Bryan Pellegrino, the co-founder and CEO of LayerZero Labs, approximately 1.28 million wallets qualify for the ZRO airdrop.
