Cardano’s price is currently at a key point. As of today, ADA is trading at $0.245, down 0.76% over the last 24 hours. This follows a generally slow weekend for the cryptocurrency market.

As an analyst, I’m watching the $0.245 level very closely. It’s proving to be a key support level for ADA, and right now, it’s holding as important short-term support for the price.

Throughout March, Cardano’s price tried twice to climb above the $0.268 mark – its 50-day moving average – but fell back down both times. Since September 2025, this moving average has consistently acted as a price ceiling for ADA, preventing it from staying above that level.

Traders will be closely watching ADA’s price action around the $0.245 level to get an idea of where it might head next.

Cardano advances hard fork preparation

The Cardano network reached a significant update this week with the release of node version 10.7.0, representing a key step in the Cardano van Rossem hard fork.

The latest update from Intersect shows that Cardano node 10.7.0-pre-release is now available for testing. This is a significant step towards preparing for the van Rossem update and signals the start of integration and testing across the Cardano ecosystem.

As an analyst, I’m excited to share that version 10.7.0 incorporates several improvements from previous releases. Specifically, we’ve included UTxO-HD for on-disk storage, along with the Kes Agent and Cardano-rpc components. We’re now encouraging everyone in the Cardano ecosystem to begin testing this new release to ensure a smooth rollout.

Because of updates to how data is stored, Intersect suggests a complete network resynchronization might be necessary with this new release. They are currently finishing up performance testing, and once that’s done, Cardano Node 10.7.0 will be officially released.

Like with most big updates, we might need to release a few smaller ones after this. However, those smaller releases will be focused on very specific, limited improvements.
