With my years of experience in the cryptosphere, I’ve learned that whale accumulation often precedes significant price rallies, and the 145% increase in large ADA holders over the past month is a clear bullish sign.

Today, the price of Cardano (ADA) is surpassing other cryptocurrencies, experiencing over 12% growth and reaching $0.83. This surge follows a significant increase in Cardano whale accumulation by 145% over the past month. Over the last seven days, ADA has climbed approximately 54%, making it one of the top-performing altcoins. As a result, investors are anticipating further growth towards the significant level of $1.0.

Cardano (ADA) Whale Accumulation Triggers Price Rally?

Crypto expert Ali Martinez noted a substantial rise in the number of large Cardano investors (whales) and their accumulation of the platform’s native token, ADA. This trend suggests that these investors are becoming more optimistic about Cardano’s ADA token. In fact, as per Martinez’s analysis, wallets containing over $10 million in ADA have significantly boosted their holdings by a striking 145.72% during the past month.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that the activity in Decentralized Finance (DeFi) on the Cardano network has been growing steadily. In fact, the Total Value Locked (TVL) on the blockchain has risen to an impressive $479.8 million, moving closer to its record high, according to data from DeFiLlama, suggesting that Cardano’s popularity is increasing.

This development coincides with the surge in value and heightened action on Decentralized Exchanges (DEXes), lending platforms, and various protocols within the Cardano network, as well as an increase in the use of Cardano’s DeFi system. The escalation suggests a growing usefulness and acceptance of Cardano’s decentralized finance infrastructure.

The recent increase in Decentralized Finance (DeFi) actions, combined with positive on-chain indicators for Cardano, suggests that the upward trend of ADA’s price might persist.

Is ADA Preparing for a Mega Rally to $6?

According to the blockchain analysis firm Santiment, the price of Cardano (ADA) is starting to break free from other altcoins as it approaches an 8-month high. Furthermore, the value of ADA relative to Bitcoin is also approaching an 8-month maximum, indicating increased strength against the top cryptocurrency. Santiment has pointed out that transaction and whale activity levels for ADA are currently similar to those seen in June, which preceded a 26% increase in the ADA/BTC pair.

Currently, I’m observing that each ADA token is being traded around $0.786. The market value of all these ADA tokens combined stands at a whopping $27.54 billion. Interestingly, the daily trading volume has seen a significant increase by 25%, reaching an impressive $2.27 billion.

Meanwhile, crypto expert Ali Martinez has pointed out that the price trend of Cardano resembles the pattern seen during the 2020 bull market. In an earlier post in November, he suggested that the price of ADA could surge as much as 2000%, potentially reaching $6 and setting a new all-time high for ADA. Martinez put it this way:

“It seems that Cardano is mirroring its 2020 trend. If history continues to repeat itself, we could witness a price surge around November 18 – approximately two weeks post the US elections – and a probable market peak by September 2025.

While other aspects might be getting attention, Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, is emphasizing their collaboration with XRP. Recently, he had a technical discussion with Ripple CTO David Schwartz, an interaction that has drawn interest from the blockchain community.
