Good heavens, what a kerfuffle! It appears that a certain individual, bless their cotton socks, recently parted with a rather substantial sum – a cool $3.7 million ADA, no less – to effect a single, solitary transaction. One can only imagine the state of their bank account at this juncture. 😳

Now, here’s where the delightful absurdity kicks in. A keen-eyed observer (and, indeed, a rather sharp-witted chap at Whale Alert) pointed out that the actual transaction fee was a mere 1.6 ADA (or, if you’re feeling particularly frugal, 0.83 ADA). A rather negligible amount, one might argue, considering the headline-grabbing figure. 🤭

It seems the poor Whale Alert monitoring bot, in a fit of what can only be described as digital pique, decided to misreport the entire transaction amount as the fee. A most unfortunate blunder, indeed! One suspects the bot may have been sampling a bit too much of the digital nectar. 🍹

Josh Marchand, the esteemed founder of SecurityBot (a name that suggests a certain level of vigilance, wouldn’t you agree?), has rather pointedly suggested that Whale Alert’s pronouncements are, to put it delicately, “completely false.” He further elaborated that the bot appears to have performed a rather clumsy calculation, mistaking the difference between input and output values for the fee itself. A truly baffling oversight! 🧐

“Might I humbly suggest,” Mr. Marchand penned with a touch of dry wit, “that a consultation with a seasoned veteran of the Cardano community might be in order? We aim to present Cardano in the best possible light, free from such…embarrassments.” A perfectly polite, yet undeniably pointed, observation. 👍

And just to add a dash of further merriment, there’s this little detail: earlier today, someone else decided to splurge a rather princely $112,745 ETH on a single transaction. One wonders if they were attempting to outdo the ADA enthusiast. A most spirited competition, to be sure! 🎉
