Starting from April 11, 2024, EMURGO, a key component of the Cardano network, has joined forces with Huawei Cloud to expand the network’s reach and boost its cloud-based blockchain offerings. This collaboration combines EMURGO’s expertise in blockchain technology with Huawei Cloud’s powerful infrastructure, aiming to speed up the adoption of Web3 technology in the region.
Cardano Expands In Asia
The core of this collaboration involves setting up a Cardano Validator Node on Huawei Cloud. This significant alignment takes advantage of Huawei’s extensive cloud resources, providing unmatched scalability and dependability for the network.
Through the collaboration between Huawei Cloud’s powerful computing capabilities and extensive global network, and Cardano’s innovative blockchain solution, this partnership seeks to boost the speed, adaptability, and compatibility of Web3 applications running on the platform.
An important feature of this partnership is that the project can utilize Huawei’s Marketplace, a well-known platform frequently used by major businesses worldwide. This connection will broaden the horizons and versatility of Cardano’s Web3 solutions, encouraging the development of groundbreaking applications and offerings within the blockchain industry.
Through this collaboration, innovators are encouraged to delve into unexplored areas of Web3 development on our reliable and expansive cloud system, serving as a guiding light for creativity and progress.
Ken Kodama, EMURGO CEO, shared his excitement about the partnership, stating that “this collaboration brings together Huawei Cloud’s reliable technology and Cardano’s community of blockchain developers and Web3 solutions. In addition, EMURGO’s collaboration reinforces its dedication to expanding the ADA platform into significant markets in Asia Pacific and Africa. Already established in countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, India, and Japan, EMURGO plans to deepen its involvement by utilizing over 3,000 stake pools or validators that ensure network security.
These entities, including the Cardano accelerator (Adaverse), EMURGO Africa, and themselves, play crucial roles in facilitating this expansion by improving accessibility and adding utility throughout the continents.
