Chang hard fork nears

In the beginning of the week, Charles Hoskinson, the creator of Cardano, shared his confidence about two significant improvements coming to the Cardano network. At least one of these enhancements is projected to roll out this year. Amidst recent scrutiny of ADA and the Cardano community, Hoskinson remained hopeful.

“Chang is approaching quickly based on SanchoNet’s advancements. Ouroboros Leios marks a significant stride in resolving the blockchain dilemma. Our research facilities are expanding, currently at 209 publications with accelerated research implementation,” Hoskinson expressed in an April 7 tweet.

In the second quarter of this year, there will be a significant update, referred to as the Chang hard fork, for the Cardano network – one of the most substantial since the 2022 Vasil upgrade. This modification is intended to grant ADA token holders the ability to vote on proposals, thereby significantly expediting Cardano’s journey towards becoming more decentralized.
