As a big fan of Convallaria, I was really bummed to hear about the issues Loongforce, the team behind it, has been having with Sony China. So, I’ve been playing this new game, THE FINALS, and it’s seriously awesome. It’s a free-to-play shooter where you and your squad – usually three people – basically compete in a crazy game show. The whole point is to wreck the environment and beat the other teams. It’s super fast-paced and chaotic, which I love. It’s totally different from another game they made called ARC Raiders, but they’re doing a cool crossover thing where if you play both, you get a special reward!

We’re adding a limit to how much Cred players can earn, preventing them from quickly gaining Feats and stockpiling Cred between seasons. This ensures players can’t immediately unlock all content in a new Raider Deck when it’s released, keeping things balanced.

With the launch of ARC Raiders‘ big new ‘Cold Snap’ update, players will find a crossover with The Finals. This is the second major update since the game came out in October, and it introduces a lot of fresh content. The most noticeable change is the new ‘Cold Snap’ map condition, which blankets the Buried City, Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and Blue Gate maps in snow. But it’s more than just a visual update – the snow impacts gameplay too. Players will take damage if they stay in the cold for too long, visibility is reduced, and frozen ponds create slippery hazards.
