Magic: The Gathering Announces Monster Hunter Secret Lair Crossover

Although we haven’t seen pictures of the cards yet, a recent announcement indicated the Secret Lair Superdrop will be available from December 1st at 9:00 AM to December 22nd at 11:59 PM PST, or until all copies are sold. This announcement, which IGN described as “very odd,” has since been removed. The release will be split into four parts – called The Hunt, The Hunters, The Monsters, and The Monster II – and each part will feature reprints of existing Magic: The Gathering cards.

Where Winds Meet Review – A Surprisingly Generous Package

I had the chance to try out an early version of the game, and after playing for many hours over the past few weeks, I’m really impressed. Not only does Where Winds Meet have a lot of great content, but it often offers more than you’d expect from a free-to-play game – it’s expansive without feeling rushed or low-quality. Overall, it’s exceeded my expectations, although there are a few minor issues I’ll mention later.

Where Winds Meet Review

Wow, the first few minutes of Where Winds Meet totally blew me away! The prologue isn’t heavy on actual gameplay – it’s mostly quick-time events and a short boss fight – but it’s an incredible cinematic experience. The music is fantastic, and the graphics are absolutely stunning. It honestly felt like I was in a movie like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon or House of Flying Daggers. It’s a breathtaking start, but sadly, the game tries to do too much, and that ultimately holds it back from being truly great.
