Classroom of the Elite Season 4, Episode 10: Release Date & Where to Watch

The following article contains spoilers for previous episodes of Classroom of the Elite Season 4.

The fourth season of Classroom of the Elite is quickly approaching its ending. The semester’s final exam has started and will be covered over multiple episodes. Even though it’s the second year of the story, this season is a good place to start watching for anyone interested in what some call the “Game of Thrones of school anime.”

Ayanokoji is facing a dangerous situation, competing against someone else who was trained in the White Room. He hasn’t yet figured out who this new first-year student is. The last few episodes of the season look exciting, with a lot of pressure building as Class 2-D deals with a difficult challenge and Ayanokoji fights to avoid being expelled.

Classroom of the Elite Season 4 Schedule

I’ve learned this season will have 16 episodes total. It’s a bit longer than usual because the premiere was extra-long – it actually showed the first four episodes all at once! After that big start, new episodes will air weekly for about twelve weeks. So, here’s what we can expect for the rest of the season:

Episode Date
Episode 10 May 13
Episode 11 May 20
Episode 12 May 27
Episode 13 June 3
Episode 14 June 10
Episode 15 June 17
Episode 16 (final, reportedly) June 24

Please be aware that the show’s schedule can sometimes change unexpectedly due to decisions by the people making it or the streaming platform. However, these changes are uncommon and usually only happen because of significant, unavoidable issues.

The Deserted Island Exam Has Begun

The deserted island test, which viewers have been waiting for, has finally started in the latest episode. So far, the story has only covered the first two days of the two-week challenge, mainly following Ayanokoji. The next episode will likely show how the other students are coping and move the story forward a few days. This test is a significant opportunity and a tough hurdle for all of Class 2-D.

This exam will be the focus of the season, as we’re only covering material from the first semester. We’ll likely finish the season with the final episode or two by also including events from Year 2 Volume 4.5, which will provide a satisfying conclusion.

Tsukishiro Wants Ayanokoji Expelled

Okay, so the regular exams are already incredibly stressful – everyone’s fighting to be at the top and definitely avoid being in the bottom five, because failing means getting kicked out! But on top of all that, I learned about this crazy side mission! Tsukishiro gave everyone a secret test – basically, a huge reward of 20 million points to whoever can successfully get Ayanokoji expelled. It’s like a bounty on his head! So, Ayanokoji doesn’t just have to pass the exams, he has to survive this extra challenge too!

This unique exam ends when the semester does, making the deserted island the final opportunity for students to earn points – or, for those who simply want to remove Ayanokoji from school. Because Tsukishiro has confirmed the school’s limited ability to oversee them on the island, it’s also an ideal location to attempt a risky action aimed at expelling Ayanokoji.

I still remember the shock I felt then. The harsh reality that slammed into me without warning.

— Tsubasa Nanase (Classroom of the Elite Season 4)

It’s become clear that Tsubasa Nanase, Hosen, and Ichika Amasawa are working to get Ayanokoji expelled, and Tsubasa has been carefully watching him – possibly a little too closely, as Ayanokoji has already noticed. The last episode hinted that Nanase’s actions are driven by the suicide of a friend, who may have had a connection to Ayanokoji. However, Ayanokoji is likely facing threats from other students during this exam as well.

I’ve been watching Ayanokoji closely, and it’s clear he’s not just focused on staying in the school. He’s also trying to figure out which of us is the first year who came from the White Room. The story has hinted at a couple of possibilities – Amasawa and Nanase come to mind, though I personally think Nanase is a bit too openly emotional to have been trained there. I have a feeling the next few episodes will give us more clues, but so far, it doesn’t seem like Hosen is the one.

I’ve noticed you can find every season of Classroom of the Elite on Crunchyroll. They have it available with subtitles and dubbed in English, plus a bunch of other languages too.
