Coinbase CEO Teases The Exchange’s Latest AI Integration Moves

Brian Armstrong, the head of Coinbase Global Inc., an American cryptocurrency exchange, shared that his company’s design team is investigating how to apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their work.

Coinbase AI Exploration In Design

The crypto leader presented two instances demonstrating that Coinbase is experimenting with a specific AI model at present.

“Create a text description and use Figma as a foundation for designing your project. With a simple click, transform any Figma design into front-end code, as confirmed by Armstrong at X. The AI tool generates codes that align with Coinbase’s design system, and are optimized to improve user experience interfaces.”

The announcement from Coinbase indicates that the crypto exchange is becoming more comfortable with using AI technology, despite earlier cautioning against it. Previously, Coinbase expressed skepticism towards the hype surrounding several AI cryptocurrency projects, viewing it as more excitement than practical application. However, it seems that Coinbase has now joined other digital asset service providers in adopting or exploring the use of AI tools within the industry.

Many blockchain companies are eager to combine the power of AI and blockchain technology to create advanced and safe offerings for their customers.

Ankr, a provider of blockchain infrastructure services, introduced Neura, an innovative AI solution designed to help AI startups overcome fundamental challenges. Neura’s functionality includes the integration of decentralized GPU resources, crypto-funding for projects, and on-chain AI operations. Flare Network, an associate of Ripple, has expressed curiosity about a novel approach to AI that merges the benefits of blockchain technology for security and safety.

Flare is developing a new AI model named Consensus Learning (CL), intended to promote cooperation among various AI systems in diverse applications.

Top Asset Managers Interested in AI

Many businesses are similarly expressing enthusiasm for integrating AI technology into their processes to alleviate tedious tasks and achieve productive outcomes.

Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest disclosed that they have put approximately 4% of their total assets (AUM) into OpenAI.

JPMorgan Chase’s CEO Jamie Dimon is equally enthusiastic about Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. He views AI as a game-changer, comparable to steam engines, as it has the power to enhance virtually every job. In Dimon’s opinion, the financial industry cannot afford to overlook AI’s significance, with immense economic prospects not limited to Wall Street enterprises but extending to all sectors of society at large.
