College Football 25 Update Causes New Bugs In Dynasty Mode

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I’ve seen my fair share of game updates and the bugs that often come along with them. The latest update for College Football 25 has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride, to say the least.

On Thursday, EA Sports launched the primary significant update for their game, College Football 25. Regrettably, a few substantial issues surfaced following the release of this update for College Football 25.

As a devoted player, I’ve stumbled upon some challenges within the Dynasty mode of this game that I feel compelled to address. Among these issues, there’s one that stands out as particularly troublesome.

Two minor issues, though somewhat aggravating, are that incoming freshmen don’t show up on the position change screen during the off-season and that non-conference games aren’t switching as expected yearly. The main challenge, though, lies in perfecting the game’s strategies and playbooks.

The game’s developer shared on Twitter that when you switch coaches’ strategies (schemes) or playbooks, the types of players you have and their Overall Ratings (OVRs) will adjust according to the new strategy.

The developers are actively investigating and working on a resolution to the problem, they said.

In the interim, according to EA Sports, it’s recommended not to alter the schemes and playbooks via the corresponding screens. Instead, you can modify your preferences as desired through the Edit Coach screen. They’ll deploy a fix once it’s available.

Updates on the pending fix will come via social media.
