Cronos zkEVM unveils its Pioneer Program, a scheme that acknowledges and remunerates initial users for engaging with dApps on the upcoming platform. This incentive initiative will honor early advocates of the ecosystem prior to its mainnet debut, scheduled for Q3.
As a researcher studying the Pioneer Program, I’m excited to share that over the next few weeks, this innovative initiative will gradually roll out. Designed with social and community missions in mind, users will have the opportunity to embark on various quests. By engaging with these tasks, explorers can delve deeper into Cronos zkEVM’s features and offerings, earning loyalty points as they progress. As the program unfolds, participants may redeem their hard-earned points by utilizing dApps from our vibrant ecosystem.
To make up for users’ participation in dApps using both native tokens and CRO, these dApps are anticipated to offer extra token rewards and benefits to token holders. Users holding crypto assets like CRO can potentially reap three distinct types of returns through this intricately designed reward scheme.
Initially, you can earn returns from staking your digital assets like zkCRO. Subsequently, there is the yield generated through the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) mechanisms within the ecosystem. Lastly, users holding loyalty points stand to gain extra rewards by engaging with various dApps.
Ken Timsit from Cronos Labs emphasized the significance of the community’s input in perfecting the testnet prior to its official launch. In preparation for the mainnet debut, the Pioneer Program acknowledges and compensates their efforts with rewards. In conjunction with Veno Finance, the zkEVM Passage campaign introduces the Pioneer Program.
As a researcher, I’d explain it this way: From July 4 up until the mainnet launch, you can earn points by securing CRO tokens in bridge contracts that are facilitated by Veno on both the Ethereum mainnet and Cronos EVM blockchain. Once the mainnet goes live, the accumulated points and staking rewards will be accessible for users to claim.
