Additionally, she cautioned the public against being misled by fraudsters who falsely assert that a new update is available, along with a supposed opportunity to invest crypto in connection to it. However, this update does not exist.

Here’s what Web3 update will add to the game

Based on Lucie’s tweet, the upcoming enhancement is named “Shibatopia arena.” It includes ranked competitions and blockchain-secured card battles. This modification is a consequence of integrating Web3 technology, transforming digital cards into exclusive assets on the Shibarium blockchain.

With the recent enhancement, competitors can now join scheduled ranked competitions featuring fifteen-day cycles and fourteen different divisions. Their objective is to progress through the ranks, which span from White Belt to Grandmaster, by accumulating points for triumphs and shedding points for defeats.

In the course of the game, players will acquire cards, which are Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) functioning on Shibarium. These NFTs can be exchanged, sold, or flaunted within users’ personal collections.

Lucie’s warning to community

Lucie added that over 10,000 distinct Shiboshi Heroes are set to feature in the game, each possessing unique skills. Gamers can employ these characters to command their decks during tactical confrontations.

Lucie declared with pride that the shift of Shiba Eternity from Web2 to Web3 would “grant players ownership over their assets and expand the horizons of blockchain gaming.” She emphasized that the primary tokens in the game would be BONE and TREAT, with the latter still under development. The SHIB team has frequently reminded the community of this fact.

As a crypto investor, I’d like to share that Lucie recently emphasized the importance of caution regarding the Web3 update for Shiba Eternity yet to be released. She strongly advised against clicking any unverified links related to this update and urged users to double-check with SHIB admins on Discord before taking any action.

SHIB price plunges by 7.5%

Over the past day, Shiba Inu, the second largest cryptocurrency with a canine theme, experienced a significant decrease of over 7.4%. Its value dropped from $0.00001744 to $0.00001614.

By now, SHIB has recovered a little, currently changing hands at $0.00001631.
