XRP’s regulatory hurdles stem from its connection to Ripple Labs, a San Francisco-based blockchain firm employing XRP in their international transaction services. In 2020, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) took legal action against Ripple, claiming unregistered securities sales.

XRP: Price outlook

Over the past month, XRP has experienced a remarkable surge of over 178%. During this time, it was disclosed that Pal, who faced legal issues in 2020, holds and continues to hold some XRP. Although XRP hasn’t outperformed Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), or Solana (SOL) since then, Pal, a self-proclaimed profit maximizer, expressed satisfaction as he seeks the highest returns on his investments.

“Nothing wrong with XRP and wish it well,” concluded the trading expert. 

At present, the value of XRP is $1.42, marking the highest it has been since September 2021. The peak price for this sixth largest cryptocurrency reaches as high as $3.317 per XRP, which is a considerable 130% above its current level.
