The upward trajectory of Bitcoin (BTC) and other major cryptocurrencies like Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and XRP is always an exciting sight, especially when accompanied by the meteoric rise of lesser-known gems like AAVE, AI coins, AVAX, TAO, FET, IMX, and others.

Today’s crypto market trends have primarily moved upward, sparking positive feelings amongst traders and investors. Bitcoin (BTC) surpassed $60K, while Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and XRP all traded in the positive zone. Additionally, AAVE and AI coins were among the top performers of the day.

Over the last 24 hours, the overall value of the cryptocurrency market increased by about 1.03%, reaching an impressive $2.15 trillion. On the other hand, the trading volume of all cryptos dropped significantly by 16.57% to $57.51 billion, which has led some to ponder and speculate.

Crypto Market Prices Today Retain Gains

Bitcoin Price Today

Today, I found myself experiencing a minimal 0.21% increase in the value of my Bitcoin holdings, which currently stand at around $60,612. This modest gain came after an incredibly volatile 24-hour trading period. The price dipped as low as $60,141.54 at one point, but managed to peak at $61,408.11 before settling where it is now.

Remarkably, Bitcoin transaction fees surged from a low of 0.5 to a peak of 60 BTC per hour, according to CryptoQuant researcher Julio Moreno. This sudden increase is largely due to an uptick in Bitcoin staking transactions, which were limited to 1,000 Bitcoins. After the staking period concluded, transaction fees returned to their normal levels.

Currently, Bitcoin’s volatility mirrors recent market happenings, but it’s significant to note that the token exhibits bullish tendencies as September Fed rate cuts approach. Additionally, it’s worth highlighting that Bitcoin options trading indicates a potential decrease in Bitcoin’s volatility. Specifically, approximately 18,000 BTC options are approaching expiration with a Put Call Ratio of 0.83, a Maxpain point at around $60,000, and a total value of about $1.12 billion.

Yesterday, Bitcoin’s dominance saw a slight drop by 0.33%, now standing at 55.65%. On the other hand, Bitcoin ETFs have reported an inflow of $64.91 million as of August 22nd, based on Soso Value data.

In summary, the recent data about the digital asset has ignited a surge of discussion and predictions regarding its potential price trends.

Ethereum Price Today

At the same time, the price of ETH was at $2,639, marking a 0.91% increase compared to the previous day. The lowest and highest points in the last 24 hours were $2,592.22 (low) and $2,652.52 (high), respectively.

As we approach, approximately 140,000 Ethereum options are due to expire. The Put Call Ratio stands at 0.93, suggesting a slightly higher demand for selling protection (puts) compared to buying it (calls). The Maxpain point is estimated at around $26,250, and the total value of these options amounts to approximately $370 million.

Solana Price Today

Yesterday, the price of Solana’s cryptocurrency rose by approximately 2.21%, reaching a value of $144.96. Throughout the last 24 hours, its lowest and highest prices were $142.01 and $145.61 respectively. The market capitalization of Solana stood at an impressive $67.53 billion. Over the same period, the trading volume of the coin decreased by around 33.23%, with a total of $1.34 billion being exchanged.

XRP Price Today

In the last day, the value of XRP increased minimally by about 0.04%, now trading at around $0.5992. Its lowest point in the past 24 hours was $0.5952, and it peaked at $0.6039.

Meme Crypto Prices Today

Today, Dogecoin‘s (DOGE) value increased by 0.80%, putting it at $0.1062. Similarly, Shiba Inu (SHIB) experienced a 1.18% rise, reaching $0.00001424. These growth spurts are in line with the overall trend observed across the market.

Meanwhile, even PEPE, WIF, and BONK soared 1%-3%.

Avalanche (AVAX)

As an analyst, I’m observing a significant rise in AVAX‘s value today, with a 13% increase that has pushed the price to approximately $26. The intraday low for AVAX was at around $23.22, while its peak reached $26.61.

Bittensor (TAO)

Yesterday, the price of Bitternor (TAO) saw a significant increase of 12%, climbing up to $330. During this period, its lowest point was $294.04, while its highest reached $334.83.

Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET)

The cost of FET increased by 10%, reaching a new high of $1.05. During the past 24 hours, its lowest and highest values were recorded at $0.961 and $1.09, respectively.

Immutable (IMX)

In the last day, the value of IMX has climbed by 8%, reaching a current price of $1.31. Over the same period, its lowest point was $1.21 and it peaked at $1.33.
