Today’s bearish turn in the top crypto prices is nothing new to me, but it’s always disheartening to see significant losses in my portfolio. The Bitcoin price dropping below $63,000 and Ethereum inching closer to $3,100 is a reminder of the inherent volatility of this asset class.

The prices of the leading cryptocurrencies took a downturn today, with Bitcoin (BTC) dipping below $63,000 and Ethereum (ETH) approaching the $3,100 threshold. Additionally, notable altcoins like Solana (SOL), XRP, and Cardano (ADA) experienced substantial losses.

Major Crypto Prices Today

1. Bitcoin Price

As a crypto investor, I’ve noticed that the price of Bitcoin took a dip of 1.92%, landing at $62,984.3 on Saturday, April 27, based on my observation at the time of writing. Meanwhile, the trading volume saw a significant drop of 21.72% within the last 24 hours, amounting to $24.92 billion. Despite this setback, Bitcoin managed to maintain a market capitalization of an impressive $1.24 trillion.

2. Ethereum Price

At the moment of reporting, the Ethereum price decreased by 0.31% to land at $3,123.63. The total market value for Ethereum stood at an impressive $381.24 billion. Meanwhile, Ethereum’s trading volume experienced a significant decrease of 18.35%, amounting to $11.13 billion in total transactions.

3. Solana Price

The price of Solana dipped below $130 today, representing a 4.60% decrease, and ended up at $136.68. Furthermore, there was a significant drop in Solana’s trading volume, down by 27.51%, resulting in a total of $2.61 billion worth of trades over the past 24 hours.

4. XRP Price

As the XRP price dipped below the $0.52 mark, it experienced a significant decrease of 1.95%, resulting in a new low of $0.5188. In contrast, the trading volume for XRP saw a substantial drop of 11.18%, amounting to $1.13 billion.

5. Cardano Price

During the past day, the price of Cardano crypto fell by 3.42%, reaching a value of $0.4598. Simultaneously, ADA experienced a decrease of 3.07% in its trading volume, amounting to $342.03 million.

6. Dogecoin & Shiba Inu Price

As a researcher studying the cryptocurrency market, I observed that Dogecoin’s price dipped by 0.43%, landing at $0.1457. In comparison, Shiba Inu also experienced a decline of 0.44%, with its price settling at $0.00002484.
