Several other cryptocurrencies, including Solana (SOL), XRP, and meme coins, experienced declines ranging from 2% to 6%.
As a crypto investor, I’ve noticed a significant downturn in the global crypto market today. The market cap has dropped by 2.37%, bringing it down to $2.29 trillion. However, despite this decline, there’s been some positive movement in terms of trading volume. Over the past day, the total crypto market volume has seen a notable surge, increasing by 23.68% to reach a value of $42.51 billion.

Bitcoin Price
The price trend of Bitcoin took a significant drop today, decreasing by 2.40% to reach a trading value of $62,897.78. The lowest and highest points within the last 24 hours were marked at $62,683.01 and $64,408.84 respectively.
Bitcoin’s dominance today stood at 54.15%, a slight 0.03% jump over the past day. The flagship’s market cap fell to $1.23 trillion.
Ethereum Price
The chart for Ethereum’s price demonstrated a decrease of 3.04% today, reaching a level of $3,405.66 during my writing process. The lowest and highest points in the last 24 hours were recorded at $3,387.72 and $3,519.32 respectively.
Ethereum’s market cap waned to $416.35 billion in the past 24 hours.
Solana Price
The price of Solana’s cryptocurrency has retreated by 5.73% and is now being exchanged at the rate of $126.84. Over the past 24 hours, Solana experienced its lowest point at $126.53 and its highest point at $134.90.
XRP Price
As a researcher studying the cryptocurrency market, I observed that XRP, which is backed by Ripple Labs, experienced a decrease in value amounting to 2.39%. This caused its trading price to dip to $0.4768. The lowest point it reached within the past 24 hours was $0.4743, while its highest point was $0.4888.
DOGE & SHIB Prices
During the same period, the meme coin market followed the general trend, resulting in a 2.42% drop for Dogecoin to $0.1218, while Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Pepe Coin (PEPE) displayed indications of a retreat with decreases of approximately 4%-8%.
SHIB traded at $0.00001742 while writing, whereas PEPE traded at $0.00001088.
Top Crypto Gainers Today
Despite most cryptocurrency tokens experiencing losses and trading in the red today, UNISwap’s native token, UNI-SED-LEO (LEO), managed a small increase of 0.41%, closing at $5.78.
Top Crypto Losers Today
LayerZero (ZRO) corrected 12.18% to $2.73.
JasmyCoin (JASMY) followed, dipping 10.77% to $0.02949.
dogwifhat (WIF) also followed, correcting 10.45% to trade at $1.61.
Similarly, Ethereum Name Service (ENS) sunk 10.31% to $22.89.
As I closely examine the hourly charts, I notice that Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL) have experienced additional dips. In contrast, Ripple (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Shiba Inu (SHIB) have made modest gains within the same time frame.
