‘Crypto Survival’ SHIB Warning Published by Shiba Inu Team

As a seasoned analyst with decades of experience in the ever-evolving world of cryptocurrencies, I find Lucie’s take on the survival of cryptos intriguing and insightful. Her emphasis on strong teams, real utility, and genuine communities resonates deeply with my observations over the years.

The anonymous head of social media marketing for the Shiba Inu development team, who goes by the name Lucie, has offered her perspective on what factors might keep cryptocurrencies viable up until 2026. According to her viewpoint, it’s likely that not every one of the numerous cryptos currently in circulation will survive and continue to function by that year.

Lucie discussed the essential elements she thinks could ensure the longevity of cryptocurrencies, hinting that the significant influence memes have today might diminish over the next two years.

“Let’s see who’s still around in 2026”

Lucie titled her X post as follows: “Survival of the Fittest: Let’s See Who’s Still Around in 2026.”

The leader of SHIB believes that for a cryptocurrency to thrive amidst the current market and economic turmoil and reach 2026, it needs two key factors: a robust team supporting it and genuine utility in the real world. She noted that some cryptocurrencies are maintaining their position due to meme popularity, but she considers this trend temporary.

In the future, it’s only the robust and useful cryptocurrencies that will endure, supported by dedicated teams. Even if trends favor meme coins at present, their longevity depends on the presence of an authentic user base—not just opportunistic investors jumping from one token to another.— 𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐄 (@LucieSHIB) August 30, 2024

According to Lucie’s perspective, what stands out as crucial in this context is a “genuine community, not just opportunists constantly moving from one cryptocurrency to another every fortnight.” She emphasized the need for dedicated supporters who won’t abandon their coins to jump onto the bandwagon of the latest trendy crypto on the market. In Lucie’s view so far, “instead of establishing solid foundations, people have been merely launching tokens.” These tokens lack substantial backing by anything significant or tangible, she suggested.

10.3 million SHIB vanish in furnace

Based on data from Shibburn, a tracker that monitors the burning of Shiba Inu tokens, it’s been reported that in the past 24 hours, approximately 10,387,492 SHIB meme coins were removed from circulation by the community. This is significantly less than the number burned on Friday, which was about 96,634,993 SHIB. In other words, fewer tokens were disposed of in the last day compared to Friday’s burn.

Currently, due to a significant reduction in the available Shiba Inu coins (SHIB), the daily burn rate has decreased significantly to -89.23%. Conversely, just a few days ago, on Friday, the daily burn rate was extremely high at 139,103.99%.
