December 18 is Going to Be a Sad Day for Netflix Subscribers

The popular horror series Supernatural, which follows brothers Sam and Dean Winchester as they hunt monsters and investigate strange occurrences, will no longer be available on Netflix after December 18th. Originally debuting in 2005, Supernatural became one of the longest-running shows on television, and it has remained a favorite among viewers on Netflix and other streaming platforms even after its final episode aired five years ago.

For 13 years, fans have enjoyed all 327 episodes of Supernatural on Netflix. However, the show will be removed from the streaming service on December 18th. After that date, all 15 seasons of Supernatural will no longer be available to stream on Netflix.

Why is Supernatural Leaving Netflix?

Fans are disappointed to see Supernatural leave Netflix as its streaming deal has ended. While it’s sad to say goodbye after so many years on the platform, the show will still be easy to find! Supernatural is heading to Peacock and Amazon Prime Video on December 22nd. There will be a short gap where it’s not available on major streaming services, but it won’t be long before it’s back.

When Supernatural becomes available on Peacock and Prime Video, all 15 seasons and every classic episode will be there. Binge-watching the entire series is a commitment, but it’s packed with unforgettable scenes, compelling stories, and thrilling action. While the show isn’t always perfect, it’s generally a lot of fun and worth checking out if you’re new to it.

Will There Ever Be New Episodes of Supernatural?

As a huge fan of Supernatural, I’m always wondering if we’ll ever get more from that universe. It ran for so long, it feels like there’s still a lot of story to tell! They actually tried a bunch of spin-offs while the original show was still airing – they filmed pilot episodes hoping something would stick – but none of them really caught on. Then, after Supernatural ended, The Winchesters came out, but unfortunately, it didn’t get enough viewers to last past its first season. It’s a shame, really, because I’d love to see the world expanded in a meaningful way.

The g

Although Supernatural has ended, a revival isn’t impossible, given its continued popularity. Now that Eric Kripke, the show’s creator, is finishing his work on The Boys, a Supernatural reunion might happen sooner than expected. In the meantime, fans should know the show is leaving Netflix and might want to subscribe to Peacock or Amazon Prime to keep watching.
