Unfortunately, two DLC packs for “ARK: Survival Elevated” have run into some certification issues on specific platforms, but these problems should be resolved soon. Interestingly, the original game still attracts more average players than its remake. However, Studio Wildcard has continued to produce new DLC for the updated version regardless.

Studio Wildcard unveiled comprehensive information regarding the upcoming Christmas event for ARK: Survival Evolved, titled “Winter Wonderland,” on Steam. This festive event is scheduled to debut on December 23 and will run until January 9, 2025, providing ample opportunity for players to participate. Throughout the event, players can explore new creatures like RaptorClaus, Abominable Snowman, Santa’s Big Helper Yeti, among others. These unique creatures often drop special items such as Coal and Mistletoe. Winter Wonderland is Coming to ARK: Survival Ascended on December 23

In essence, the content of this event bears a strong resemblance to last year’s Winter Wonderland event in the game, featuring recurring elements like chibis, emotes, and skins. Yet, each category offers fresh content, ensuring that even those who participated in the event last year will find something novel this time. For solo players, the Winter Wonderland experience is accessible as an ARK: Survival Evolved mod, which can be effortlessly installed from the game’s main menu. When active, it can also be added to private servers by entering the mod ID “927090” into the server command-line launch arguments.

After being announced over four years ago, there’s been no sign of the much-anticipated game ARK 2 hitting shelves. Despite numerous delays, we still don’t have a clear release date for its Early Access version. As per the latest announcement, it was supposed to come out in late 2024, but with the deadline fast approaching, fans shouldn’t hold their breath for now. Fingers crossed, 2025 might bring an entirely new ARK adventure that goes beyond Survival Evolved and Ascended!
