The first case in Mouse: P.I. for Hire, called “Big Mouse, Little Hope”, takes place at Der Harzerburg. While playing this level, you can find two Comic Books and one Schematic. All Der Harzerburg Collectible Locations in Mouse P.I. for Hire (Big Mouse Little Hope)

Comic Book #1

Go to the casino, past the big roulette wheel, and find the vent directly opposite the stairs that lead to the next typewriter. Climb down the ladder and crawl through the vent to discover Comic Book #1.

Comic Book #2

Once the person you’re following goes down in the elevator, take the stairs and search the floor for Comic Book #2.

Schematic

Continue along the main path until you find two barrels blocking the entrance to a locked door. Before destroying these barrels, look to your left – you’ll find a safe containing a Schematic. Copy the image displayed above and use that combination to open the safe and take the Schematic inside.

If you fail to pick the lock, the safe will get stuck, and you’ll need to load an earlier save to try again.

This blueprint isn’t a collectible you need to find like the comic books, but it’s still valuable. You can use blueprints to improve your weapons in Mouse P.I. for Hire, although you won’t be able to do so right away. It doesn’t take long to unlock weapon upgrades, and it’s helpful to have a few blueprints ready when you do.

Do You Need All Der Harzerburg Collectibles?

You don’t need to find every collectible in Der Harzerburg to finish the game. But grabbing the Schematic will help you play, and collecting the comics counts towards 100% completion. If you’re aiming for full completion, make sure you find all the Comic Books before you leave Der Harzerburg.
