Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred Release Delayed Due To Technical Issues

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent slaying demons and battling the forces of evil, I must admit, this latest delay in Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion has tested my patience. I’ve been eagerly awaiting its release since the first whispers of its development.

It appears that the release of Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred has been postponed. Originally planned for a launch at 7pm ET on Monday, October 7, it unfortunately did not occur for gamers as expected.

5:30pm ET saw Diablo 4’s global community director Adam Fletcher announce online that Blizzard might experience a minor delay in the game’s launch. At that moment, he stated that the team was working on fixing a small technical issue from behind the scenes, but they were still anticipating a Monday evening release.

Over the course of time, the anticipated update remained unpublished, despite players being kicked out of the game and login attempts being blocked around 7 pm Eastern Time. This was presumably to ready the game for the launch of Vessel of Hatred, but even so, it didn’t get released yet.

The latest update came around 9:30pm ET

Fletcher mentioned that the launch of the Vessel of Hatred might take approximately two hours. He also added that Battle.net players should expect a substantial update prior to gameplay.

Initially anticipated as no more than a “few hours,” the wait has stretched out over a longer period for enthusiastic fans eager for the new release. Unfortunately, as of our current publication time at 11pm ET, it appears that the update remains unavailable for download.
