Arknights: Endfield won’t have cooperative gameplay when it first releases, so you’ll be playing solo. While you can’t team up with friends at launch, the developers haven’t ruled out adding co-op features later on.
Many games like this one offer a way to play with friends, such as Genshin Impact. With over 35 million players already, it would be a big advantage for Hypergryph to add cooperative gameplay in the future. For now, though, it’s just a wishful idea.
