Based on the manga by Q Hayashida, Dorohedoro is a unique and energetic anime series. It mixes horror, science fiction, action, and dark humor into a truly chaotic and unforgettable show. The Chaotic Dorohedoro Will Return For Season 3
With Episode 23, Season 2 of Dorohedoro has finished, but fans can rejoice – Season 3 is already being made! To get everyone excited, director Yuichiro Hayashi released a new illustration of Haru playfully demanding the next season. The illustration’s text, when translated, says, “Season 2 is already over?? What am I supposed to watch now? Hurry up and make Season 3!”
It took four years for Season 2 of Dorohedoro to be announced after Season 1, so the quick start to production on Season 3 is encouraging – it suggests fans won’t have to wait another long time for new episodes. However, MAPPA, the studio behind the anime, is also working on Season 4 of Jujutsu Kaisen and Season 2 of Chainsaw Man, making it hard to predict when Season 3 of Dorohedoro will actually be released.
Good news for fans! MAPPA will continue to animate future seasons of Dorohedoro, and Yuichiro Hayashi, who directed Attack on Titan: The Final Season, will return as director.
