Dragon Ball Super: Every Villain’s Strongest Attack, Ranked

The villains in Dragon Ball Super are considered among the best and most powerful in the whole series. The introduction of gods, angels, and the idea of a multiverse caused power levels to dramatically increase, making all the characters far stronger than they’d ever been before.

I’m a huge Dragon Ball Super fan, and honestly, the villains in that series brought some seriously amazing and powerful attacks to the table! They weren’t just doing the same old moves, they were really pushing the limits. So, I decided to put together a rundown of the absolute strongest attack each major villain unleashed throughout the different arcs of the series. Let’s dive in!

Hit’s Time-Skip Was Enough To Subdue Goku

The Ultimate Assassin

During the fight against Universe 6, Hit emerged as the most challenging opponent the heroes faced. His unique Time-Skip ability was powerful enough to defeat Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta and nearly overwhelm Super Saiyan Blue Goku. Because stopping time is such a strong ability, Goku had to combine Kaioken with his Super Saiyan Blue transformation just to counter it.

Holy Wrath Was Merged Zamasu’s Ultimate Attack

The Evil God

Zamasu remains one of the strongest enemies the heroes have ever faced. By fusing with his future self, he gained immense power and unleashed devastating attacks, most notably the Holy Wrath – a massive, red energy blast that could have obliterated the planet if it had hit.

Jiren’s Omega Heat Magnetron Can Destroy Anything

Universe 11’s Strongest

During the Tournament of Power, Jiren posed the biggest danger to Universe 7’s survival. He was incredibly strong and had masterful control over his energy, most notably demonstrated by his Omega Heat Magnetron – a powerful blast of energy that caused massive destruction upon impact. Even when Goku achieved his perfected Ultra Instinct form, he recognized the need to avoid this devastating attack.

The Gigantic Catastrophe Showed Broly’s Rage

The Legendary Super Saiyan

When Broly completely loses control, he transforms into his Full Powered Super Saiyan form, which is significantly stronger than even Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta. In this state, he uses a devastating attack called Gigantic Catastrophe, releasing a chaotic and incredibly powerful wave of energy from his mouth, causing widespread destruction. While he never directly hit Gogeta with it, the attack was immensely powerful.

The Max Bomb Could Have Destroyed The World

Cell Max’s Ultimate Move

Cell Max was a lot like Broly – a raging, destructive force with no real purpose other than to obliterate everything. He planned to use a powerful energy attack called the Max Bomb, similar to those used by other villains. While it was incredibly strong, Gohan defeated Cell Max before he could unleash its full potential.

Granolah’s Sniper Bolts Overpowered Ultra Ego

The Strongest Cerealian

Granolah was a versatile fighter, specializing in long-range attacks like a sniper. His abilities became even more powerful as he wished to become the strongest warrior. His most impressive move was a powerful sniper blast that could initially overcome even Vegeta’s incredibly strong Energy of Destruction attack. Later, Granolah nearly perfected this technique, charging it to a level he claimed would be fatal to both him and Vegeta.

Moro’s Ability To Absorb Life Force Was Terrifying

The Planet Eater

The idea of characters stealing energy isn’t new to Dragon Ball, but Moro is by far the most dangerous example. He could drain the life force from entire planets, turning them into wastelands. This ability was so powerful that he even absorbed the energy of Merus, hoping to unlock the Ultra Instinct transformation for himself.

Frieza’s Death Ball Is Stronger Now Than Ever Before

The Galactic Tyrant

We haven’t seen Frieza’s most powerful attack, the Death Ball, since before he reached his full, ultimate form – and we still don’t know much about what he can do at that level. However, the Death Ball has always been his strongest move, so it’s reasonable to think he still uses it. Now, as Black Frieza, he’s the strongest being in the series, so it would be far more devastating than ever before.

Beerus Has The Power To Destroy With Hakai

The Destroyer God

Beerus, the God of Destruction from Universe 7, was once the main villain of his story arc, but is now an ally. He’s currently the most powerful opponent the heroes have faced. As a Destroyer, Beerus uniquely masters Hakai, a technique that can instantly and completely erase anything – from small objects to entire planets – from existence. Hakai is the most powerful attack shown in the series.

Dragon Ball can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
