Easiest Way to Use City Stamina in NTE

In Neverness to Everness, the most effective ways to use your City Stamina are Owner’s Selection and Fishing. Owner’s Selection uses Stamina quickly, but requires a particular team of characters. Fishing is more laid-back and doesn’t need any specific characters, though it doesn’t deplete Stamina as rapidly.

How to Spend City Stamina Quickly in NTE

Let’s start with the Owner’s Selection method, currently the quickest way to use City Stamina in NTE. This mode lets you serve customers at any of the cafés you own in Hethereau. While normally a fast-paced and demanding activity, with the right preparation, you can complete three Owner’s Selection runs in just over a minute. Here’s how:

  1. Go to any of your café outlets and start Owner’s Selection
  2. Pick Mint, Nanally, and Baicang as your assistants (all with Level 3 Life Skills)
  3. Start Stage 1-1
  4. Serve two dishes to customers
  5. Hit the final customer with the hammer (found on the left side of your screen)
  6. Quit out of the activity by pressing the button on the upper-left of the screen

If I do this right, I can finish each task in under 20 seconds and it costs 12 City Stamina. That works out to about 36 City Stamina per minute, meaning I can burn through all 500 of my City Stamina in roughly 14 minutes. It might take a little longer though, depending on how quickly customers show up and how smoothly I can switch between menus – you always have to factor in those little delays!

However, there’s a catch: achieving a perfect three-star clear with this approach is impossible without Nanally or Baicang. Nanally allows you to still earn points even when you accidentally hit customers, and Baicang keeps your combo going after pushing someone away. Without these characters, getting a three-star clear would take roughly seven times as long, requiring a complete playthrough.

Using the Owner’s Selection feature lets you quickly complete City Stamina stages in NTE with just Nanally and Mint. However, you’ll only achieve two-star completion rewards, which cost 8 City Stamina each. Even so, it’s a fairly quick method, so it’s worth considering even if you don’t have Baicang.

The Fishing Method

Okay, so if you don’t want to spend a ton of time on a task, I’ve found something super easy! Just head to the daily fishing spot – it changes every day! – and fish for a few minutes. You can find it by going to the City Tycoon screen and looking for the Sea Angler option under Hethereau Hobbies. It’s a quick way to get something done!

Fishing in NTE is really straightforward – it’s much easier than Owner’s Selection and doesn’t require a lot of button presses. You can reel in fish with minimal effort, so you can relax, listen to a podcast, and enjoy the peaceful experience. Just remember to bring plenty of Fishing Bait so you don’t have to stop, and be sure to sell your catch to earn Fons and replenish your City Stamina.

Okay, so basically, no matter what I do in New Thalassia, it costs 1 City Stamina for every 1000 Fons I earn. And the fancier the fish I’m trying to catch, the faster my Stamina goes down. If I want to reel in those rare, expensive fish, I need to upgrade my Fishing Rod and use the right Bait for that specific fishing spot. Otherwise, I’ll be wasting Stamina and won’t get anywhere!
