Elon Musk Adopts New X Name and PEPE-Themed Avatar, Setting Community Abuzz

As a seasoned crypto investor with a knack for spotting trends and a keen eye for Elon Musk’s antics, I must admit this latest move by the tech mogul has left me intrigued and excited. The crypto market is always on the edge of its seat when Musk makes a move, and the PEPE community’s reaction to his X name change and avatar update has been nothing short of exhilarating.

In my experience, Musk’s past actions have shown that he often uses his social media presence to subtly influence the crypto market, as we saw with Dogecoin in 2023. While I don’t think this latest move will have the same impact on PEPE’s price as it did for Dogecoin, I do believe it could be a positive catalyst for the meme coin.

The launch of the Kekius Maximus coin is also an interesting development, although I remain skeptical about its long-term potential. However, with Musk’s influence and the PEPE community’s enthusiasm, who knows what could happen?

On a lighter note, I can’t help but chuckle at the thought of Musk reaching level 80 in Path of Exile. As someone who’s spent countless hours grinding levels in various MMORPGs, I can only imagine how much time that would require! It just goes to show that even the busiest centibillionaire finds time for a little gaming every now and then.

Enthusiasm among cryptocurrency enthusiasts has been ignited, as tech mogul and multibillionaire Elon Musk recently updated his Twitter profile name and icon. This change caught the attention and sparked excitement within the PEPE meme coin community in particular.

Reaction of the crypto industry followed immediately by launching a new meme coin.

Elon Musk reveals X name and avatar change

Today, tech entrepreneur Elon Musk unveiled a surprising move to his X community, especially crypto enthusiasts, by altering his X profile name to “Kekius Maximus” and displaying an avatar featuring the well-known meme character Pepe the Frog. This frog is notable as it inspired the PEPE digital currency, which emerged in April of last year.

It’s not the first occasion this month that Elon Musk has shared a post featuring PEPE characters on his Twitter account (X page). Specifically, on December 10th, he reshared an image of “Kekius Maximus” created by Grok, which was originally posted from another Twitter account, with his own comment attached.

Kekius Maximus depicts Pepe the Frog wearing a Roman general’s outfit, posed within the vicinity of the Colosseum – possibly alluding to the second installment of the Gladiator film series by Ridley Scott, which hit theaters globally in November.

In his tweet, Elon Musk mentions that reaching level 80 in the game Path of Exile marks a substantial achievement within its gameplay advancement structure.

Kekius Maximus will soon reach level 80 in hardcore PoE

Community reacts to Musk’s move, PEPE 12% up

The crypto enthusiast circle swiftly reacted to Musk’s tweet, expressing their excitement about the Pepe the Frog meme and its associated coin. In this instance, numerous individuals referenced the coin’s ticker symbol $PEPE in the comments directed at Musk. Yet, the most astonishing revelation didn’t stem from the shared image but from the tech innovator modifying his username to match it instead.

It’s likely that Elon Musk will restore his original name on his account shortly, as he has a history of altering his online personas. In 2023, for instance, he momentarily replaced Twitter’s blue bird logo with the DOGE mascot after purchasing the social media platform for $44 billion. He then rebranded it to X. This quick action caused a substantial increase in Dogecoin’s value.

Based on the CoinGecko rating system, crypto enthusiasts who closely follow emerging trends within the cryptocurrency industry have introduced a new coin called “Kekius Maximus” (KEKIUS).

PEPE coin’s price has jumped 12% in the past two hours.
