Elon Musk’s DOGE Tweet Excites Crypto Community: Details

As a seasoned cryptocurrency analyst with over two decades of experience in the tech industry, I’ve witnessed the rise and fall of numerous digital currencies. Today, I find myself intrigued by Elon Musk’s latest antics on X, where he combined his love for memes and Dogecoin.

Today, the renowned tech entrepreneur and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk – famous for his fondness for Dogecoin and internet humor – shared a post that merged these aspects.

As a fellow crypto investor, witnessing this surge, I sparked an outpouring of encouraging remarks from the Dogecoin community. Yet, among the chorus of voices, some Bitcoin enthusiasts voiced their conviction, stating they stand by BTC rather than meme-based cryptocurrencies.

Musk triggers community with DOGE post

Elon Musk shared a picture from his X account, which was captured during one of his recent talks in the U.S. The image shows him triumphantly holding up both arms, much like a weightlifter showcasing his muscles.

The owner of X incorporated a DOGE meme into the photo, featuring a Shiba Inu dog mimicking the same pose with an impressive display of well-toned muscles.

Among the commentators, it was Nebraskangooner’s analysis that stood out. He questioned why Dogecoin didn’t surge following Elon Musk’s tweet. Interestingly, after the tweet was posted, Dogecoin actually dipped by nearly 2% instead of rising, which is unusual. Currently, Dogecoin is being traded at approximately $0.14236.

Why isn’t DOGE pumping off this?

He stated that he believes crypto to be an ““interesting and probably valuable bulwark against a centralized control.” He then clarified that this was ““definitely not an endorsement or lack of endorsement of XRP.”

In response to Musk’s comment about XRP, Brad Garlinghouse, the CEO of Ripple, stated that people are keen to inquire about it due to the fact that “XRP is not just a specialized topic.
