Entangle Launches Hotly Anticipated Omnichain Mainnet

As a seasoned crypto investor with a keen interest in omnichain infrastructure, I’m thrilled to witness the successful launch of Entangle’s mainnet. With two years of development and rigorous testing behind it, Entangle is poised to revolutionize the way we interact between various blockchain ecosystems.

In simpler terms, the significant update to Entangle’s mainnet brings essential features to life for all fundamental aspects of its design. It enhances communication between Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and non-EVM networks, as well as between Ethereum-like and Cosmos-like chains.

Entangle launches mainnet version of its omnichain infrastructure

After two years of development and a successful testnet experiment, Entangle’s groundbreaking blockchain platform has officially launched its interoperable omnichain mainnet. This milestone cements Entangle’s position as a leading player in the omnichain landscape.

Right from the start, the launch of mainnet involves the unveiling of several essential elements: the Entangle Blockchain itself, Entangle Explorer, Photon Messaging, Validators, Delegation, and e-Bridge. The design of Entangle Blockchain is constructed around a tiered framework, encompassing the Application Layer, Modules Layer, and Tendermint Consensus Layer.

The Entangle Blockchain effectively achieves an average block time under 2.8 seconds, demonstrating its resourcefulness for various dApps due to its efficiency. Additionally, the Photon Messaging feature enriches the system by enabling cross-chain development across sixteen EVM and non-EVM blockchains, including Solana.

The Entangle team emphasizes in a comment that the deployment of mainnet functions significantly enhances the functionality and value of NGL, which is the native cryptocurrency at the heart of their platform.

Following the Mainnet launch, NGL token holders can now participate in securing the blockchain by staking their tokens. In return, they will receive rewards and have access to additional perks within the Entangle Ecosystem as we continue to roll out exciting promotions.

In the staking procedure, you assign your tokens to Entangle’s validators and agent network, a crucial part in safeguarding the security of the Photon Messaging platform.

70+ blockchain firms joined Entangle as validators

As a crypto investor, I’m excited to note that currently, there are 71 active validators in the network, among which are some well-known market players like Hashkey Cloud, Rhino, Nodefi, and DaiC. More validators are anticipated to come on board soon.

I’ve seen firsthand that around 25 million NGL tokens have already been staked or delegated to validators on the Entangle network. This strong showing from the community demonstrates the excitement and faith in Entangle’s potential. To get involved, users can simply visit the Entangle Explorer and choose a validator or transmitter agent to delegate their tokens to.

In the near future, Entangle plans to bring new team members on board, enabling them to handle user delegations and stakes as well.

Previously reported by U.Today, on the 22nd of March, 2024, Entangle obtained strategic investment from Ethereum (ETH) major player ConsenSys. The NGL token became accessible on centralized exchanges starting from March, 2024.
