Despite Ethereum reaching a high of $4,000 in December, it dipped slightly below the support level of $2962 yesterday. This drop, which began when Ethereum was trading at $3329, can be attributed to whale activity surrounding the altcoin. For instance, a whale sold an impressive 10,070 ETH worth approximately $33 million.

Approximately 9 hours ago, it appears that three wallets (possibly linked to a single large investor, or “whale”) transferred 10,070 Ether for approximately 33 million Dai at a rate of around $3,280 each, incurring a loss of about $1 million.

24,029 Ether (worth approximately 81.3 million dollars) was taken out of Binance by a whale using ten fresh wallets around three weeks back. At the present moment, this whale possesses about 13,959 Ether (equivalent to roughly 45.48 million dollars).

When a cryptocurrency experiences an uptick after struggling with a support level, it is often Ethereum investors who are increasing their positions.
