Defense Determines the reduction in incoming damage from physical attacks, based on the equipped gear’s stats and that character’s resilience.
Magical Might Determines the amount of damage done from spells.
Magical Mending Determines how strong healing spells are, along with the chances for revival spells to work.
Strength The base physical prowess of that character that determines how much damage they can do without a weapon equipped.
Resilience The character’s basic overall resistance to incoming physical damage.
Agility Determines the order a character will go in combat, with a higher agility going first. Also increases that character’s chances of dodging incoming attacks.
Deftness Determines how likely enemies won’t notice your party during the first turn in combat, makes it easier to flee in combat, determines how easily a character can steal items from an enemy, and increases their critical hit rate but only slightly.
Charm Determines how likely a charm-inducing spell or ability is to work.
