How to Catch a Frostspore Butterfly in Heartopia
To start the quest for Frostspore Butterflies, talk to Naniwa and choose the “Mysterious Frostspore Butterflies” option in the chat window. Naniwa will tell you that these butterflies have been affected by Frostspore, but their beauty still makes them a worthwhile catch.
You can find Frostspore Butterflies at Forest Lake, no matter the weather. This is the only place they appear, and they come in many different types.

When you get to the Forest Lake, get your insect net ready and begin searching. Frostspore Butterflies are easy to notice thanks to their vibrant colors—look for pink, purple, green, or blue butterflies fluttering around. You should be able to find one fairly quickly if you keep an eye out.
This quest is simple: you just need to catch one Frostspore Butterfly, and any color will do. We’ve found they appear in all types of weather – we even found a Mother-of-Pearl butterfly during a Meteor Shower! You don’t need to be a skilled insect catcher either. Because you only need one butterfly, it’s a quick and easy quest to finish.
Once you’ve caught the Frostspore Butterfly, return to Naniwa and speak with him. He’ll caution you about the butterfly being infected and explain that he intends to build a secluded villa to contain it. This conversation will finish the Mysterious Frostspore Butterfly quest.
