A Collaboration Between Kroll and Digital Disbursements? Please. It’s a Farce. 🎭
Sunil revealed that FTX creditors were bombarded by an email from an address pretending to be Kroll. The prose? A Shakespearean tragedy: “Dear Client, Kroll Restructuring Administration LLC is the agent overseeing the resolution process…” followed by a partnership with “Digital Disbursements.” The cherry on top? A no-reply email and a plea to “set up accounts.” Spoiler: It’s a scam.
The villains, in their infinite creativity, even quoted the recipient’s remaining claim-how considerate of them to remember your financial despair! Yet, Sunil, our modern-day Don Quixote, warned creditors to avoid clicking links to the FTX Claim portal, BitGo, or Kraken. Because nothing says “trust” like a phishing email pretending to be a lifeline.
The true path? Brave souls must manually visit the websites, logging in separately. A tedious ritual, but better than becoming a statistic in crypto’s latest farce.
