They didn’t want to compromise on quality and decided to postpone it, releasing only the PC version initially. But here’s some good news, folks! The console version is almost here now, just waiting in the wings to deliver the action-packed gaming experience we’ve all been craving.

Notably, this console launch comes less than two months after the PC version was released. Typically, being late to a live service game means missing out on a substantial amount of content, but that’s not the case with FragPunk.

Despite all the buzz surrounding the release of FragPunk on PC, the experience hasn’t been entirely trouble-free. Initially, players were displeased due to FragPunk’s heavy emphasis on microtransactions, which not only include cosmetic items but also introduced nine distinct currencies and two separate subscription and membership systems. Although this monetization strategy is typical for free-to-play games as a means of earning revenue, players feel that FragPunk pushes the limit with the excessive amount of premium content being provided.
