Ghost of Yotei is finally here, headlining a week of new PlayStation releases.
Early reviews are incredibly positive, with the game receiving a “Mighty” rating on OpenCritic. Game Rant, our sister site, described “Ghost of Yotei” as a visually stunning and expansive open-world game with exciting combat and a captivating story of revenge, calling it one of the best games available exclusively on PS5.

DLC Is Already Planned For Ghost of Yotei
During GamesCom Opening Night Live, Sucker Punch Productions showcased a new trailer for the next installment in the Ghost of Tsushima series, and also announced some good news: players can expect free downloadable content (DLC) to arrive in early next year.
With the Ghost of Yotei Legends update, players can enjoy new two-player story missions and team up for four-player survival matches. This might remind you of the Ghost of Tsushima game, which also received a Legends DLC after it launched.
Sony didn’t share many specifics right now, likely wanting to keep the focus on the soon-to-be-released Ghost of Yotei. However, considering how much players enjoyed the Legends DLC, having more content like that is certainly welcome.
Sucker Punch has announced that the map in Ghost of Yotei will be their largest to date. They’ve also shared that the game will feature a new story taking place 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima. We’re particularly looking forward to this new narrative, and we hope that Ghost of Yotei can be enjoyed as a standalone experience, without needing to reference the previous game.
