As a seasoned crypto investor with years of experience navigating the volatile and often unpredictable world of digital currencies, I have learned to be vigilant and discerning when it comes to investment opportunities. The recent warnings from Shiba Inu team’s social media admin @DavinciShib and lead developer Shytoshi Kusama serve as a stark reminder that the crypto landscape is rife with scammers looking to exploit unsuspecting investors.
One member of the Shiba Inu team who goes by the handle @DavinciShib on the X platform recently issued a crucial alert to the Shiba Inu community.
He elaborated how the SHIB name can be used by scammers as if continuing the recent post of Shytoshi Kusama about how scammers use his own name and X account against him.
SHIB can become “big red flag”
As a crypto investor myself, I’ve been alerted by DavinciShib to the presence of scammers within our SHIB community. These individuals are deceiving people by adding “SHIB” to their usernames, claiming to represent legitimate investments. However, just because they use the Shiba Inu name doesn’t automatically make them trustworthy; quite the contrary, it often signals danger. Stay vigilant and always verify the authenticity of any investment opportunities you come across.
As a dedicated Shiba Inu (SHIB) investor, I want to highlight a potential warning sign. If you notice “SHIB” being utilized to hype or sell an unidentified cryptocurrency, beware – that’s a significant warning signal, or as I like to call it, a “big red flag.” Always do your own research before making investment decisions.
Anyone can throw “Shib” in their name, it doesn’t mean it’s safe, it’s actually the opposite. If you see “Shib” being used to sell some random unknown shitcoin, that’s a big red flag!

In a recent comment, the Shiba Inu admin disclosed there’s a group regularly releasing a fresh “S-coin” approximately every two months. Interestingly, these coins have already dropped by 80-90% in value, yet this group is readying to unveil the next one. Davinci cautioned the Shiba Inu community, suggesting, “To avoid potential losses, be wary of being deceived more than three or four times before you start recognizing the pattern.
Shytoshi Kusama says: “I’m completely fed up”
As a crypto investor, on November 1st, the enigmatic SHIB lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, shared an intriguing piece of information that served as a heads-up for the Shiba Inu community. He disclosed the inner workings of the strategy scammers employ to misuse his name and the X account, disguising themselves as him.
Kusama revealed he occasionally checks an SHIB army member’s account to stay updated on community discussions. Scammers, noticing this, often propose selling the account for around 1 Ether. Kusama stressed that in various regions, this sum could represent a substantial amount of money. Afterwards, these individuals change the account’s name and add an attractive female profile picture to attract followers.
Moving forward, these swindlers will introduce their counterfeit tokens, claiming they are “community-led.” As an analyst, I’m growing increasingly weary of such deceitful practices. I strongly urge everyone to verify any token-related information with the authentic SHIB resources before making any decisions.
I’m utterly exhausted and struggling to find reliable sources for information. Can you help me figure out a way to get accurate updates on the situation?
