How to Complete the Oh Yes… They Float Side Job in Mouse: P.I. for Hire

Up next in your Mouse P.I. adventure is the case, “Oh Yes… They Float.” The title clearly nods to Pennywise the Dancing Clown from Stephen King’s IT, especially since this case is set at a circus. But don’t worry – this job isn’t too difficult!

Like many optional tasks in Mouse P.I. – and especially since you can’t revisit chapters – it’s easy to accidentally miss this quest. Let’s walk through it so you don’t!

Tickets, please!

How to Start the Side Job

Okay, so after I finish up the main “It All Points to Here, Right?” quest, I can jump right into this side job. Before heading off, I need to chat with Millie Curd – she’s usually standing on a bench outside the Little & Big Bar. It’s a bit of a strange spot, I know, and maybe not ideal, but I heard she’s going through a tough time, so I want to see if I can help.

Speak with her, and she’ll ask you to bring a balloon back from the circus.

Next up, you’re all set to head to the Secret Show portion of the game. Get ready for clowns!

Completing the Side Job

Okay, so this one’s super easy to find! Just play through the main story as usual, and you’ll eventually get to this arena – you can see what it looks like in the picture. All you have to do is defeat all the enemies inside!

Next, to continue, you’ll need to play two mini-games to win two more tickets.

Hold on a moment. Over there, in the corner of the arena and to the left of the dynamite game, you’ll find a smaller booth. Please go there.

The circus performer famous for playfully repeating “What are ya buyin’?” – just like a memorable character from Resident Evil – will be selling balloons. If you pay $25, you’ll get the very item Millie was searching for.

Rewards

When you return to town, go back to Millie – she’s still in the same place. Talk to her and give her the balloons.

Millie will pay you with a baseball card featuring Jeremiah Curd, likely a relative of hers and the Curd family.
