In *Digimon Story: Time Stranger*, the Immortal Egg is a very rare item essential for crafting the best equipment and evolving Digimon into powerful forms like Magnamon or Rapidmon. Unfortunately, it’s hard to find, with only a limited number available as rewards throughout the main story and side quests.
Want to get more Immortal Eggs to create powerful items like the Digi-Egg of Miracles and War God Brass Knuckles? These items will help your Agents defeat the toughest bosses in the game. This guide will show you everything you need to know about finding Immortal Eggs, including how to trigger random encounters and which Digimon have a chance to drop them.
Where to Find Immortal Egg in Digimon Story: Time Stranger
In *Digimon Story: Time Stranger*, players will encounter their first Immortal Egg with Nanimon when they reach the Factorial Area in Illiad. To save Nanimon, Aegiomon needs to access a ventilation duct during the “Incoming Conflict” Main Story Mission. A second Immortal Egg appears much later during the Secondary Mission “The Greatest OMNI Carnival,” which takes place at the Paradise Colosseum and involves battles against multiple Digimon teams. Beyond these methods, players can also repeatedly obtain Immortal Eggs through gameplay.
This technique involves locating Digitamamon, a rare Digimon that, like PlanitumNumemon, BlackKingNumemon, and GoldNumemon, appears randomly. While it can show up anywhere, Digitamamon is more likely to spawn in three specific locations, all of which are areas players will frequently revisit during their adventures in the Digital World.
How to Find Digitamamon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger
Digitamamon can appear in any battle, making its spawn location completely random. However, there are four areas where you’re more likely to find it if you keep battling Digimon there. Here’s a guide to good farming spots for Immortal Eggs during the Early, Mid, and Late game:
- Early-Mid Game: The first area players should visit if they want to find Digitamamon is the Abyss Area, where there are a lot of ShellNumemon roaming around. This area is also a spawning spot for PlatinumNumemon, so if players are looking to make a lot of extra EXP, this is the spot.
- Mid-Game: Next, players should look around areas like Central Town’s sewers, as these are more easy to reset and bring out more Digimon to fight. The secret of Random Encounters is repetition, so this is a good spot to try and force-spawn Digitamamon.
- Mid-Late Game: Later in the game, players get access to the Gear Forest area. The Floating Islands have a platform where Deramon spawns, and facing it in combat might cause Digitamamon to spawn.
- Late-Game: Another likely location where players can find Digitamamon is in the Cosmic Area, in the Chill Cosmic Crescent Moon zone to be more precise. Players can also try their luck with the endless Penmon spawn there, as it is a decent way to auto farm EXP, Data, or, in this case, Immortal Eggs.
