To thwart him and gain access to having Jafar as a resident in Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need to finish a sequence of intricate quests.
After players enter Jafar’s mysterious palace, they will need to feed Jafar’s raven to get the key to his throne during the Jafar’s Laboratory quest. It might sound simple at first, but feeding this picky bird is actually quite tricky, much like other DDV critters. This guide will show you how to feed Jafar’s raven in Disney Dreamlight Valley .
How to Feed Jafar’s Laboratory Bird in Disney Dreamlight Valley
In Jafar’s Lab, if you encounter a black raven, you’ll have to cook up a unique meal using fresh veggies and spoiled seafood to gain its goodwill and advance on your journey.
This troublesome raven, whom Jafar nicknames an annoyance, enjoys dining on a highly-rated dish known as Bird Seed. To prepare this meal, here’s what you’ll require in your pantry:
- Ripe Carrot
- Ripe Tomato
- Rotten Fish
- Rotten Clam
How to Get Rotten Seafood and Fresh Veggies for Jafar’s Bird in DDV
All the ingredients you need are on a nearby table in Jafar’s Laboratory, but there’s a catch: all of these items, including the seafood items, are fresh. To make the Bird Food, you’ll need fresh vegetables and rotten seafood.
To locate spoiled seafood, players should search for the large sand timer (hourglass) in the laboratory and engage with it. Begin by visiting the table and gathering only fresh tomatoes and carrots. In order to obtain rotten seafood, you’ll need to travel back in time. Therefore, find the large sand timer in the lab and interact with it. Subsequently, return to the table where you will now find spoiled clams and fish.
Fortunately, you can get these items without spending any Star Coins. Once you’ve gathered everything, head over to the nearby cooking station and put the ingredients in the pot. Don’t forget that you’ll require one piece of Coal Ore for cooking the meal as well.
After preparing the bird feed, make your way to the raven and present him with the meal. In appreciation, he’ll hand over a valuable item known as the Power Coil for your efforts. You can then utilize this Power Coil to obtain Jafar’s key.
