How To Get All Outfits in Dying Light The Beast

Finding a complete set of armor in *Dying Light: The Beast* is a real challenge. There are nine different armor sets (excluding items from downloadable content), and each set has six pieces. That means you’ll need to locate a total of 54 armor pieces hidden throughout the large Castor Woods area.

This guide is designed to help players find all the Armor Sets in *Dying Light: The Beast*. If you’re missing a piece of armor, you can use the list below to see where to find it.

Scavenger Armor Set

  • 6% Common Craftparts Loot per set piece (36% total)
  • 3% Uncommon Craftparts Loot per set piece (18% total)
  • 4% Damage (Accessories) per set piece (24 % total)

The Scavenger Armor set is a great choice for players, offering solid protection and a higher chance of finding extra resources while looting. Each piece is found by searching specific locations. You can find the Headpiece in the Nate Market Dark Zone north of Town Hall. The Scavenger Pants are also at the Vanity Store near Town Hall. The Boots are located inside the Taurus Megastore Dark Zone on Recreation Island. For the Bracers, head to another Nate Market Dark Zone, accessible by crossing the Industrial Zone bridge – it’s the building marked with a Taxi sign (and also where you can find a unique Legendary Weapon on the roof). The Chestpiece (Shirt) is at the Vanity Store in the Golden Pines villa area. Finally, the Gloves are in another Nate Market, located a bit above the Farms Tower Safe Spot in the Farmlands region.

Heavy Armor Set

  • + Armor Per Set Piece (51 Total)

The Heavy Armor Set is all about maximizing defense – it provides the best protection possible, and nothing else. Here’s where to find each piece: the Chest is located in the Station Sq. Apartment in the Old Town Dark Zone. The Pants can be found at the Library Sq. Apartment, a bit above and to the right of the Library Tower Safe Zone. The Mask is below Town Hall, in the Gallery Sq. Apartment. You’ll find the Boots in the Warehouse Dark Zone, in the Industrial Park (under the Factory Relay). The Gloves are a little further to the right on the map, at the Factory Offices. And finally, the Bracers are in the School Dark Zone, located in the Villa Area.

Bruiser Armor Set

  • 1.5% Damage Resistance (Infected) per set piece (9% total)
  • 3% Damage (2-Handed Weapons) per set piece (18% total)
  • 3% Damage (Power Attacks) per set piece (18% total)

The Bruiser Outfit is a great choice for players who use powerful Two-Handed Swords, as it significantly boosts their damage. You can get the Cap (headpiece) by finishing the Trouble in Paradise side quest. The Pants are awarded for completing the Good Vibrations quest, given by Tom at the Town Hall. The Bracers are obtained by solving the Hydro Puzzle quest. Finally, you’ll receive the Boots for completing the Killing Streak mission for Doug, also at the Town Hall.

Explorer Armor Set

  • 2% Exp Gained per set piece (12% Total).

To get the Explorer Armor Set, simply visit Doug at Town Hall and buy all the pieces from him using your Old World Money. Wearing this outfit will help you level up much faster, but it doesn’t provide a lot of defense, so be careful when exploring Castor Woods.

Parkourist Armor Set

  • +7% Damage (Parkour) per set piece (42% Total)
  • +4% Damage (Melee Weapon Throw) per set piece (24% Total)
  • -3% Stamina Cost (Melee Weapons) per set piece (-18% stamina cost Total)

You can find the Parkourist Outfit in the Exiles’ Cave, located in the far north of the Castor Woods map. A vendor there sells all the pieces of the outfit, and it’s a worthwhile purchase! This armor greatly reduces stamina use with melee weapons and increases the damage they do when thrown. It’s especially effective when used with the Ciupaga Legendary Tomahawk.

Survivor Armor Set

  • -3% Stamina Cost (Melee Weapons) per set piece (-18 % Total)
  • +2% Damage (Melee Weapons) per set piece (+12% Total)
  • +3% HP Restored on Healing per set piece (+18% Total)

The Survivor Armor Set helps Kyle Crane withstand the dangers of Castor Woods. It boosts damage with melee weapons and makes them cheaper to use. Plus, it increases healing from Medkits, Bandages, Regeneration Boosters, and even while using Beast Mode. You’ll need to complete most of the story missions to get this set, so be prepared for a challenging journey as you help Kyle get revenge on Baron.

Soldier Armor Set

  • +3% Damage (Firearms) per set piece (+18 % total)
  • -3% Recoil (Firearms) per set piece (-18% recoil total)
  • -1.5%% Damage (Humans) per set piece (9% total)

The Soldier Armor Set is hidden within the secondary missions of *Dying Light The Beast* and is easy to overlook. You get the Boots by completing the “Killing Streak: Volume One” quest from Doug at the Town Hall. During this quest, you can find the Bracers by searching near a small bench close to the abandoned Convoy where the ambush takes place. The Gloves are located on a bench inside the Church during “Killing Streak: Volume Two”. While completing “Killing Streak Volume Four”, look for the Head piece on the dining table of an abandoned house. The Pants are awarded in the “Killing Streak: Final Chapter” quest. After defeating the psychos at the Library tower, you can loot the Pants from the locked room where the bandit leader triggered the alarms – this quest also rewards you with the Chest piece.

Merc Armor Set

  • 1.5% Damage Resistance (Infected) per set piece (9% total)
  • 3% Damage (Headshot or Headstrike) per set piece (18% total)
  • -6% Firearms Recoil per set piece (-36% total)

If you’re looking to collect the Merc Armor set, be prepared for a bit of a journey! Each piece is hidden in a different location. You’ll find the Chest Piece at the Fishermen Island Tower Safe Spot, in the river between Old Town and the Industrial Zone. The Boots are at the Highway Tower Safe Spot, just outside of Golden Pines (Villa Area). The Pants require a climb to the Chimney’s Tower Safe Spot, located in the middle of the Industrial Park. The Gloves can be found at the Recreation Island Tower Safe Spot, and finally, the Bracers are at the Village Tower Safe Spot, below Memorial Hill in the Golden Pine Park zone.

Rogue Armor Set

  • +3% Recognition Time (Enemies) per set piece (Total 18%)
  • +6% Stamina Damage per set piece (Total 36%)
  • +3 % Damage (Backstab) per set piece (Total 18%)

The Rogue Set is the hardest to find, with its pieces cleverly hidden throughout the game. However, the effort is definitely worthwhile! This set significantly improves your stealth abilities, making challenging missions like “Hunting Yaga” and “Some Flew Over The Volatiles Nest” much easier. Here’s a guide to finding all the pieces of the Rogue Set:

Okay, so as a tip for anyone playing, head to Golden Pines. Go to the house directly above the ‘n’ when you’re looking at the map. Once inside, there’s a framed picture near the library – knock it over! It hides a button. Hit that button and a secret panic room will open up. Inside, you’ll find the Rogue Bracers – definitely grab those!

Okay, so I found this house with a peace symbol on it, and it’s got some good loot! Inside, there are these boxes you can smash in the corner. Once you do that, you can crawl down into the basement. You’ll need to find a fuse and use it to fix a power box down there. Once you get the power on, a safe will open up. Inside the safe, grab a key. Then, turn the power *off* again – it’ll de-electrify this locker in the next room. The Boots are actually inside that locker, so don’t forget to shut off the power first!

Okay, so getting the Rogue Pants is a bit of a mission. You’ve gotta head to the Industrial Zone, near the Chimney’s Tower Safe Spot. Keep an eye out for this tiny square fence around a blue pipe – you can climb that and drop down into a flooded basement. Once you’re underwater, you need to find a way out by breaking open a vent. This leads to a machine room with a generator and some zombies. Clear them out, then turn the generator on and grab the cable nearby. After that, exit through the underwater passage. Outside, go around the building and cross the street – you’ll see a power cable panel. Plug the cable into the panel, and the fence will open up, giving you access to the warehouse where the pants are! It’s a bit of a trek, but totally worth it.

A bug is affecting a reward location that also contains the A2 Treasure Map in *Dying Light: The Beast*. Some players are finding that the generator doesn’t work, or they can’t pick up the power cable needed to activate it. We’re aware of the problem and are working on a fix that will be included in a future update.

You can find the Rogue Mask inside the Green House, which is in the Old Town area to the right of the Town Hall. Once inside, look for a safe. The combination to open it is 14-11-20. The clue to this combination is found in a Love Letter next to the safe. Follow the letter’s instructions, which will lead you to a picture of a dog in the kitchen. You’ll need to carefully balance on a ledge to reach the kitchen.

You can find the Rogue Jacket in a prepper bunker just outside Old Town (located in the National Park). On the map, find the bunker and look for a small vent in a forest clearing near a cliff. Open the vent to get inside, then restore power by picking the lock on the door to your left and turning on the generator. Be prepared to fight some Virals that will appear. Next, find an air duct to reach the sealed room on the other side of the bunker. Search the body inside for the access key card, then return and use it to open the locked room and claim the Rogue Jacket, along with a large supply of UV Light Bars.

The Rogue Gloves are the easiest to find. They’re in an abandoned cabin just outside the Industrial Park – look for the location marked on the map. Just go inside and take the gloves from the shelf.
