How to Get Crowbar & Open Boarded Up Doors in REANIMAL

In the second chapter of REANIMAL, you’ll need a Crowbar to open doors blocked with wooden planks while searching for the Bolt Cutters. The Crowbar isn’t easy to find – it’s hidden inside the Cinema. This guide will walk you through how to get the Crowbar in REANIMAL so you can quickly open those barricaded doors.

How to Get the Crowbar & Open Boarded-Up Doors in REANIMAL

Okay, so getting the Crowbar in REANIMAL is pretty straightforward. You head into the Cinema and through that chained-up door. Once inside, you’ll find everyone’s watching a movie and totally asleep. That’s your cue to carefully sneak through the rows of seats and make your way to the left side of the room – that’s where you’ll find it!

As you carefully make your way through the seats, Sniffer will go into the room and unlock a door on the left. After it’s finished, go through that door to enter the Cinema’s hallway. Continue straight towards the exit, which will lead you to the alley behind the Cinema.

Once you enter the alley, you’ll find the double doors are locked. Luckily, there’s a hole in the wall right beside them that you can crawl through. Inside, you’ll see two security guards napping at the dining table. You can safely move around and leave the room by going through the door on the far left.

After leaving the dining room, you’ll find yourself in an open area with a playground. From there, go to the dumpster shown in the picture. You and your teammate will need to push the dumpster to the right to reveal a window, which you can then use to enter.

The window opens into a room containing washing machines and the Sniffer, who appears to be ironing what looks like a new suit. Carefully sneak through this room, staying low to the ground so you don’t alert the Sniffer. If he notices you, quickly hide inside one of the washing machines that isn’t being used. To continue, look for a vent next to the door on the left side of the room.

You’ll find a room with skins hanging from the ceiling above the bathtubs. Your goal is to hide behind those bathtubs to avoid the Sniffer. Stay hidden long enough, and it will lose your trail and move to the next room, accidentally opening the door for you to proceed.

Once you’ve gotten past the Sniffer, you’ll come to a room filled with cages. Continue to the left and crawl under the damaged fence to find a Crowbar stuck in a dead Boomer – it’s part of the REANIMAL display. Grab the Crowbar and use it to free your friend who is trapped inside a cage.

Now that you’ve overcome the biggest challenges, all that’s left is to escape a couple of chases – which shouldn’t be too difficult. Once you’ve made your way back to the Village square, open the boarded-up door to continue your journey in REANIMAL.

You can use the Crowbar as a weapon by pressing the attack button – that’s the RT/R2 button on a controller or the left mouse button on a computer.
