The Demeniss Royal Guard Shield is hidden underground within the Church of East Demeniss Chambers in Crimson Desert. Be cautious while exploring, as the chambers are filled with traps! Luckily, you won’t have to fight any enemies or bosses – you can simply head inside the church to claim the shield. Here’s a guide on how to obtain the Demeniss Royal Guard Shield in Crimson Desert.
How To Get Demeniss Royal Guard Shield In Crimson Desert
Go to the Church of East Demeniss, located southeast of the Golden Plains and east of the second ‘S’ in ‘Demeniss’ on the map. The easiest way to get there is to use a nearby Abyss Nexus and then follow the dirt path.
When you get to the church, head west and go into the area by the tombstones. You’ll find an opening in front of the statue. Use the ladder to climb down, or simply jump, to enter the Church of East Demeniss Chambers.
The church’s hidden rooms are full of traps, so watch for flashing red lights – they warn you of danger. To get through, you can either shoot the rope holding the trap or jump over it to continue towards the gate.
Search the room, then pull the lever to open a way forward. Hurry across to the other side, because you’ll be attacked from every angle.
Go up the stairs and use another rope to swing across to a room with three gates and three levers. Be careful – two of the levers trigger traps, but one will reveal the Demeniss Royal Guard Shield. Turn right and pull that lever to find the shield on an altar. You can leave by going back the way you came, or by teleporting to a nearby Abyss Nexus or Abyss Cresset.
The Demeniss Royal Guard Shield is refined to level 5 and has two Abyss Gears:
- Damage Reduction 1.0
- Guard Stamina Cost -3.0%
The Abyss Gears aren’t fixed in place – you can swap them out by visiting any of the witches. Just be sure you’ve already met each witch and know how to find her, or you’ll need to complete a quick test to learn her location first.
