In Crimson Desert, the Double Jump ability lets Kliff jump much higher, making it easier to explore the large world of Pywel and solve puzzles that require using Aerial Force Palm. It’s different from double jumps in other games, though. This guide will show you how to unlock the Double Jump skill and how to combine it with Aerial Force Palm to achieve even greater heights – triple or quadruple jumps!
How to Get Double Jump in Crimson Desert
Unlock Double Jump Through Skill Tree
In Crimson Desert, players can unlock the Double Jump ability by spending one Abyss Artifact on the corresponding skill in the skill tree. After unlocking it, you can perform a double jump by pressing the jump button twice in quick succession.
Kliff needs to be standing on something – like the ground, water, or even another character – to do a double jump. It doesn’t work like a typical double jump where you can do it in the air; instead, it’s more like a powerful second jump that starts when he’s touching a surface.
Learn Double Jump for Free
To unlock the Double Jump ability and preserve an Abyss Artifact, head to Pororin Village in the Crimson Desert, which is southwest of the Howling Hill Greymanes Camp. You’ll need to finish the “Unreachable Village” quest to gain access to the village at first.
Once you reach the spot shown on the map, you’ll see three Shai Children practicing double jumps on a rock. When you approach them, you’ll be able to press “LB/L1/CTRL” to watch them and learn the Double Jump skill for free in the Crimson Desert.
If you want to change your skills and get your Abyss Artifact points back without using a skill point, you can use a Faded Artifact to learn a new ability for free.
How to Perform Triple, Quadruple, or Even Pentuple Jumps in Crimson Desert
In Crimson Desert, players aren’t limited to standard jumps – they can chain together up to five jumps in a row! This is done by using a special mid-air move called Aerial Force Palm. To reach the greatest heights, it’s best to start with a double jump, then activate the Aerial Force Palm by pressing the designated button (RS/R3/Middle-Mouse) to give Kliff an extra boost.
Once you upgrade the Force Palm ability, Kliff can charge it two or even three times while in the air. This lets him jump much higher, which is really helpful for reaching distant areas – especially in the Abyss – and getting enough altitude before gliding.
Swimmers can quickly get out of the water by repeatedly using the Aerial Force Palm technique and then gliding to shore.
