Eevee has been a fan favorite since the very first Pokémon games, and for good reason! This Pokémon is known for evolving into eight different forms—each with its own unique type and look. It’s exciting news for fans that both Eevee and all eight of its evolutions will be featured in *Pokémon Legends: Z-A*.
You can actually obtain all eight Eeveelutions very early in *Pokemon Legends: Z-A*, giving you excellent type coverage from the start. It takes about an hour and roughly 20,000 Pokedollars to catch enough Eevees to evolve them all. This guide will walk you through the complete process.
How to Get Eevee in Pokemon Legends: Z-A
You can find Eevee in Wild Zone 19, but if you want one early in the game, there’s a trick to get as many as you like. After finishing the first three quests for Emma, you’ll unlock Lumiose City. Head to the southwestern part of the city and find Bleu Sector 5. Look for the Nouveau Cafe Truck No. 2 – it’s a fast travel spot and a place where Eevee appears frequently.
Next to the cafe truck, you’ll find some scaffolding that lets you climb onto the roof. Head to the higher corner of the roof – that’s where Eevee appears during the day. It’s on a raised platform, so it can be tricky to sneak up on. Don’t worry too much about being seen, though! Eevee gets distracted easily and will turn around, giving you a chance to crouch and catch it from behind. It’s a good idea to save your game before you try.
Eevee won’t disappear if you reload your saved game, and the game will only save automatically after you catch or defeat it. This means if Eevee gets angry or you run out of Pokeballs, you can restart and try again. You can also reset Eevee’s anger by falling from a high place and climbing back up, but reloading is faster. Keep in mind you’ll lose any Pokeballs used on failed attempts. If you manage to catch or defeat Eevee, a new one will reappear after five minutes.
Eevee appears on the Bleu Sector rooftop consistently, even with players around, which means you can leave the game running (AFK) and still have a chance to find it. A new Eevee will always spawn five minutes after the last one is caught or defeated, letting players get all eight Eeveelutions in less than an hour. You’ll also hear Eevee’s sound when it appears, so you don’t need to constantly watch the screen.

How to Get Espeon in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Okay, so if you want to evolve your Eevee into Espeon, you gotta max out its friendship level and then evolve it during the day. The fastest way I’ve found to boost friendship is hitting up the food truck or cafe and getting drinks with your Eevee. It takes about four cups of Roserade Tea to get it high enough. If it’s nighttime, don’t worry, you can just chill on a bench and change the time to daytime before evolving!
If you want your Eevee to evolve into Espeon, make sure it doesn’t know any Fairy-type moves, such as Disarming Voice. If it does, it will evolve into Sylveon instead. You can teach your Pokémon different moves through the main menu.
How to Get Umbreon in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

You can evolve Eevee into Umbreon by becoming good friends with it and then evolving it during the night. A fast way to raise friendship is to take your Eevee to a food truck or cafe and give it drinks. After four cups of Roserade Tea, Eevee will be friendly enough to evolve. If it’s not nighttime, you can quickly change the time by resting on a bench.
If you want your Eevee to evolve into Umbreon, make sure it doesn’t know any Fairy-type moves, such as Disarming Voice. If it does, it will evolve into Sylveon instead. You can teach your Pokémon different moves through the main menu.

How to Get Sylveon in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Eevee can evolve into Sylveon by becoming very friendly with it and teaching it a Fairy-type move. You can quickly raise Eevee’s friendship by taking it to a food truck or cafe for drinks. After four cups of Roserade Tea, Eevee will be friendly enough to evolve. Most Eevees you find in the wild already know a Fairy-type move called Disarming Voice, but if yours doesn’t, you can teach it one through the game’s menu.
In *Pokémon Legends: Z-A*, you can catch early forms of Eeveelutions after you finish the main story. Otherwise, the only way to get them is by evolving Eevee using the techniques explained earlier.
